You know, in theory, it feels like something I "should" be offended at, but in reality - no. It's just the way it is. I have a fantastic husband who is always loving and kind to me, so I can't complain, but the truth is that losing weight has made me more attractive to him. Men are visual. We women like to get all upset at…

Thanks to Dawn for inviting me to this group! My name is Sarah, I have two boys ages 8 and 11. We have homeschooled from the beginning, using an eclectic mix of curriculum. Growing up I was always just a little bit overweight. In highschool and college I struggled with my weight, but after I got married it really got out…

I thought it was crazy at first, but ended up doing the same thing a lot of ladies have mentioned - I wear a regular underwire bra under a Champion sports bra I bought at Target. I had tried a couple fancy, expensive ones from Zappos, but ended up sending them back. My solution is cheaper and as I am changing sizes I can't…

You look fantastic! Great job!

Absolutely get rid of them! Keeping them for "just in case" is setting yourself up for failure, in my opinion. :) Each size I've dropped, I've gotten rid of the clothes that are too big. That way, if I need to go up a size, it will be more conscious than just digging through my closet for my "fat" clothes. I'll actually…

I can relate! It is embarrassing to me that I weighed as much as I used to. But, it is what it is, and I've found the best way to handle it is just to smile, say "Thank you", and change the subject. :) And when I think of how uncomfortable I was being overweight, the discomfort of the attention I get for losing the weight…

I so relate, Dorie! The bickering during the summer drove me nuts, but it sure goes away when I keep them busy doing schoolwork. :)

Thank you docsharp! I also do some walking in the evenings, but overall, the bike is what has literally saved my life. I hope my experience can help anyone else who is unsure of the benefits of using a stationary bike.

I love my bike! Without it I would not have lost the over 100lbs that I have so far. I increase the resistance every so often so I am always working hard when I do it. I do my stationary bike every morning for 90 minutes and love the results I am getting.

Hello everybody! I would like to be in the group, but not sure I can handle any challenges. I'm a wimp, and just trying to keep up with my workout schedule is enough to wipe me out by the end of the day. But if you'll let me hang out here, I'd love that. :) Name: Sarah Location: South Dakota Married?: Very. How long ya…

If you're really serious about juicing, I suggest the Champion juicer. They are well worth the price if you intend to use it frequently. I have one and I LOVE it.

For the last few months, I've found working out before I do anything else that day is what works the best for me. It means I have to get up a bit earlier, but then I get my workout done and don't have to worry about fitting it in, because there's always something that comes up and ruins my plans. :) My kids are a little…

I'm in too! I have 150lbs to lose - I'm 5'9 as well.
