I go very low on weighted squats to where I'm still under tension. On air squats, I just break parallel. When I do the weighted squats, if I don't want to go too deep I put a 20 pound wall ball behind me and squat until my butt just hits the ball

I agree with isulo, people tend to overdo their protein intake. Check out my diary from yesterday. I think I got in 10% and I am starting to go into cutting/ weight gain mode.

I am a PUSH IT TO MY LIMITS kind of athlete. I HAVE to eat. I know I need the reserve calories that I am going to burn up. If I DON'T eat, I know I could possibly throw up or maybe even faint if I deplete all my energy. But, that is me... I can actually eat 10 min before a WOD and it not affect me due to training my body…

oh yeah, I agree, in the regard to the movement. I see all types of "kipping" and even though my gym teaches it one way, many of the members still struggle with the dynamics of it and their kipping looks rough. I can see how it can cause impingement and pain by aggressively trying to make it up the bar. I have no joint…

We just did a WOD that was: 100 burpees every 2 min time (2:00, 4:00,6:00...) do 10 95# thrusters I counted 28 burpees in my first minute, 19 in my second minute which is the only full 2 min time, due to completing 10 thrusters. My total time in completing the burpees was 7:33 with 30 thrusters thrown in the mix. grueling…

I am curious, and I ask because I had the same thoughts regarding kipping until I read an article on the breakdown of kipping and butterflying. What injuries do you foresee on doing proper kipping?

Our Gym defines Fairy Jumps as alternating lunges in place. Jumping from one into another. I hope I explained it correctly :)
