I disconnected my new blaze and reconnected as you suggest above, recording exercise with the blaze and manually entering food in MFP and I am not seeing them sync up with the info in either app...? Not sure if i am doing something wrong? Can you make any other suggestions?

wow, you have a lot on your plate too. nutrition is 80% of the equation so if you can eat within your goals you will be golden, then exercise is just a bonus. plus will help you keep your energy up when its balanced.

its taken me a REALLY long time to find that balance too. Working from home I have to keep checking the clock because its my goal to be all done with what i need to get done when that bus pulls up. trying to be focused on them once they walk in the door. If i leave anything unfinished, my mind is wandering again all night…

aw, thats bittersweet, I am coming into that time myself. my oldest did say the other day he wished i would snuggle him like the 5yo, LOL I guess I just kinda figured he was too old for snuggles.

I hear you, I am so much more prepared now that I am home too. When i was on the road it was fast food or no food, sometimes eating out of my lap while driving. Its hard to prep for the whole week when you are out of the house for so many hours.

Even Shaun T eats peanut m&ms and other treats;) I plan a splurge meal once a week. its just a night off from counting, weighing etc. then I am right back to it the next meal... in theory;)

it does matter... I started out just counting calories years ago, figuring the exercise was what was going to help me lose. while it helps, nutrition is 80% of the equation. to get the best results you should be looking at the quality of the calorie over the quantity. macros or use the container system. hope that helps.

yes! It was actually the first program I tried in combination with the nutritional guide that helped me drop 2 pants sizes in the 60 days!! I love it so much i actually got certified and teach it a couple of days a week. Let me know if you need help with anything.

thats not true, your still counting calories. its not just about the quantity its about the quality of the calorie and meeting that balance of foods throughout the day.

prep and planning are def going to be the keys to success. I get up earlier to get my stuff done before everyone else is up and the day starts. that works for me.
