bump-my fav dessert!

I'm here! I had to start taking my dog out for about an hour everyday because he's having behavioral issues. We run half and walk half but still doing 3 miles. So I guess we're c25k-ing together. Hope you feel better! That stinks :frown:

I got winded while walking around Disneyland for my birthday. That made me really, really sad and really, really motivated! When we went back I didn't get winded.

I know I can wear my favorite dress again, and I know my scrubs are falling off my butt, and I know I've had to buy a smaller bra but...I don't see it. It's really weird. My brain knows I've lost weight but my eyes don't see a thing! When I put my clothes on I still suck it in because I'm convinced they still don't fit.

bump. thanks!

Good for you! Any other year you would have shredded. Take advantage of it!

Day one of week 9 c25k. My program told me to have a lollipop when I was done. It actually went well! Back to my normal pace which I'm happy about. You guys are all doing great!

Me me me! School is sooo stressful and I tend to be a type A neat freaky kind of person...but since I don't have time I'm letting everything slide. Too much to do so I'm not doing any of it well! For instance, I should be running or studying for my test in the am...but here I am on mfp. At least I'm reading about health…

I want these! I'm scared to get them because I did have the shape-ups for work and by the end of my shifts my pigeon toes were a thousand times worse than normal...but I liked how the running shoes felt in the store. Just didn't want to spend the money and hate them. This is a great review!

Finished day 3 of week 8. I can't believe I'm almost done! Now to get through the shred.
-
Welcome and great job!
-
Couldn't get out to run today so I did day one of 30 ds.
-
Congratulations on making it through week six! My average pace is around 11:30/mile so I think maybe around 5 mph? My last one was almost 13/mile though.
-
Day 2 of week 8. I did it but it was soooo slow! No way I'll be able to run 3 miles in 30 minutes. But I guess the longer I have to do it, the more calories I burn, right?
-
You're doing great! 6 and 7 were really hard for me too. Just keep plowing through. You'll get there. I think it's taken me 5 weeks to do week 6, 7, and 8. Just did week 8 day 1. I can tell I haven't run in 2 weeks!

My husband was watching a basketball game so I couldn't shred but...he wanted to work out with me! So he did jumping jacks whenever his team had the ball and I did a jump-rope circuit for about 25 minutes that I found online.
-
You'll get there! I'm back so tomorrow I'm hoping I can pick back up.
-
Isn't it great?! Just remember when you couldn't run a minute without wanting to die! Or maybe that was just me  I had 3 tests and am out of town this weekend so it's just been food logging for me and not running. Next week will be better!

That. Is. Amazing! What an inspiration! What a lucky daughter you have!
-
almost a week later but i did day 2 week seven c25k.
-
I'm 28 too! Just looking to get healthier. I've lost some but mostly trying to be fitter. This was a rough week for me so I could use motivation too! Feel free to add me
-
This is nice! Especially since this is the first week in about 2 months that I have really slacked on my workouts and eating. Tomorrow is a new day and a new week!
-
week 5 day one was hard for me but days 2 and 3 seemed to flow better. i think i preferred having fewer breaks so i didn't loose my momentum . Just think you're halfway there! You can do it!
-
I'm just lazy! I never thought about doing shred without weights. I have zero upper body strength so it kills me every time. Maybe I should give it a try with no weights too!

finished week six c25k today. just can't get myself to re-start the shred :(
-
I only did day one of week six last week and then I couldn't make myself go the rest of the week. So I restarted it this week and so far it's been ok. I feel like I can finish it!
-
I'm starting week six for the second time today. I love it but I only did one day last week  It's such a doable program!

As far as the eating well and exercise, just make small changes. It's too overwhelming to diet "cold turkey" and exercise a ton and then you get burned out. It's waaaay easier for me to add a salad to every meal than to only eat salad at every meal! But I really wanted to tell you that I didn't have a relationship or…

I'm starting week 6 c25k again tomorrow. I took the week off :( Got to get back in it though!
