Hi! 6ft here. I've recently hit my goal weight of 170 and would like to lose another percent or two of body fat. I spent the summer in Alaska and have lost most of my active friends so I'm looking for more friends to share the journey with.

Well, start tracking your calories for sure, make sure you have good low calorie foods around for when you feel the need to munch, it happens. I'm sure this has already been said, but 1) if it were me, I would tell the Dr. what you are willing to do calorie wise and 2) the scales that measure body fat are not terribly accurate. If you list 5 inches off your waist, it was probably fat. There's just not that much muscle there, you'd pretty much have to have it…

I just quit 2 weeks ago because it was becoming a big negative in my life. It's made the eating right and working out so much easier. They've already been deep fried so I think they are so packed with fats that they can't absorb any more. I really think you're just heating them up. Enjoy! :-)

Odd hours make it hard. When I get hit with those 30 hour days, I just try to keep it under maintenance level, then maybe be really good on the days I get more sleep. Those days are tough on your body.

Weight training will help shape your body and building muscle makes it so much easier for me to loose weight. You will simply burn more calories if you have more muscle. You look pretty young, so time will probably do a lot for the lumps and bumps as well. Young skin will shrink a bit over time. Hang in there!

White zin actually goes quite well with spicy foods. The sweet stands up to Mexican foods and other spicy recipes that less sweet wines will get lost with. Budweiser is for teenagers. :-P

Beans and brown rice is one of my favorite diet dishes. It can be made low fat/high flavor. It's yummy and healthy and the calorie to satisfaction ratio is great. And really, it cant be more than 40 cents per serving even if you flavor the pot with a piece of bacon. Good luck!

Well, from what you said, the pants were too tight and now they aren't? Is that correct? Sounds like a great thing. Perhaps I'm confused. Personally, I've never been able to buy clothes by size because there is no standard.

I love to mix salsa and ranch dressing for salads. This is especially good with baby greens (lettuce) burritos: Put a little low fat or no fat cheese on a tortilla and pop it in a toaster oven to warm and lightly toast, then fill with baby greens and dress with ranch/salsa dressing, roll and enjoy.
