    Wow. I'm 5'5" and 143 pounds and here is how I measure up:

    BMI: 24.

    America: I have a lower BMI than 72% of females between the ages of 15-29 in my country.

    Global: I have a HIGHER BMI than 66% of females between the ages of 15-29 worldwide.

    Kind of embarrassing for Americans...

    Now I'm depressed. I knew that I was fat, but I didn't realize that being 6'2", 270lbs was THIS bad! Appearently I'm the fattest person in the world!

    Two things. One, everyone around me always tells me I am above average so this is noooo surprise (insert winky-faced emoticon here). Two, When I started MFP a little over a month ago, my BMI was 40, so while I am super depressed about the actual numbers, I am happy they are now headed in the right direction. :)

    Fun tool, but don't stress over the results. BMI is a fairly useless measure.

    Relax, this is one of the few times I've ever seen BMI used correctly: to compare populations.
