    Which makes me sad in a way because here I sit in one of the wealthiest countries in the world and I am striving to have a BMI similar to the average a fairly poor, war-torn nation.

    It is interesting though--thanks for sharing!

    BTW--I think this is the first normal curve (for anything) on which I've ever been "below average"!

    It bothers me, too, but in this country, the poorer you are the more likely you are to be overweight instead of underweight.

    I most closely represent someone from Bosnia.

    I fiddled with the numbers and concluded that if every woman i nher late 30's who was 5'6" weighed 146.961989, then we would neither add, nor remove any tonnes to the planet. Just something to ponder. ;)

    Fun tool, but don't stress over the results. BMI is a fairly useless measure.

    America: I have a lower BMI than 72% of females between the ages of 15-29 in my country.

    Global: I have a HIGHER BMI than 66% of females between the ages of 15-29 worldwide.

    Kind of embarrassing for Americans...
