Bottom line..you had less fluid retention..be thankful..coming from a person who has struggled with this problem for years..focus on the positive things that you notice..such as..clearer, softer, smoother skin..etc.

For me my biggest notice besides the bloat is much less pain from stiff joints. This is my second time at doing keto/low carb in 3 years and I'm 9 days into it.

Give it time...your skin should tighten up. I have had that saggy gut for a while too, but it gets better. Don't worry about that now...you are doing great and you can decide what to do later if you need do anything at all!

Sounds like you need to try keto dieting. Google it to get more info and then join MFP's Low Carb Daily Forum for help and encouragement. You can do this and without all the cravings and hunger pangs!

I make my own Borage & Green Tea Day Cream, lip balm, sugar scrubs, deodorant spray, body powder, cologne and body sprays...I have even brushed my teeth with clay and activated charcoal! LOL! :#

@KnitOrMiss just had my yearly blood test and was told I was a tad low and would need to have medication adjusted. I asked for another month or two on the same dose because I was drinking coffee right after taking my med (I had just learned that caffeine affects the medication). I know you're right elize7...I will have to deal with it..I think it's more bothersome right now since I feel "not-so-good" as my body is adjusting to ketosis. This is the best way to live!! I take levothyroxin and have had hot flashes for the last 20 yrs..maybe that is a connection KnitOrMiss. Perhaps these aren't hot flashes, but due to the coconut oil I put in my coffee! Whew..super hot is right mmultanen! You could ring me out!! :D

I'm 3.6 lbs away from my goal so I think like Mike I need to change it up a bit. I'm sticking to induction foods real well and don't cheat, but.........I think I'm having too many sugar alcohols. I agree with Satinpumpkin and Mike about coffee curbing the appetite (for me anyway).
