That weight loss itself does not necessarily make you happy, or more likable, or a more well-rounded person. You have to love yourself for reasons other then your appearance, because you can get down to your goal weight and still think " I thought I'd be happier now that I've shed ____ lbs."

I had sushi (a philly roll and a roll with spicy white tuna and avocado on the inside, with tuna, salmon, yellowtail and spicy mayo and eel sauce on the outside) and then I had a bag of gummy bears for dessert =] You made me hungry just thinking about it!

You look amazing! And your legs are BEAST, I am so jealous! I would wear skirts and shorts pretty much everyday if I had those legs! Congrats on your hard work! It's very impressive that you were able to change your diet and level of activity so radically AND maintain it.

HOLY COW you look AMAZING!!!!! Congratulations on all your hard work!!

MMMMM I had some fabulous sushi today.... it's my biggest food weakness

I have a couple of friends who swear by it (and did lose weight while using it). I personally don't care for it. There's nothing wrong with the product ( it's mostly vitamins, nutrients and a bit of caffeine/sugar) but you still need to watch your calorie intake while using Thrive if you are trying to lose weight- the…

I'm 4'11" My heaviest was about 140; I am currently down to 108. It gets a lot harder the closer I get to the 100 mark, but I'm determined to make it there by next year!

How high did it get up to? I don't ever tend to worry unless mine goes over 200, and even then it's not worrying so much as it is just taking some deeper breaths and taking it down a notch. Really talking with your doctor would be the best thing, as I'm not even fully sure what magical number is a dangerous one for me to…

I went out to eat the other night (at TGI Fridays) and had red meat for the first time in three months! I had the jack daniels burger (which comes in at almost 1400 calories with just the burger, AND i ate the fries) and the next morning when I weighed myself i was still the same! It was packed with so much sodium that I'm…

I actually live in Sanford. Was a bit annoying to have to drive by the court house to get to the flea market; news vans and spectators were lined up on the street.

I've been once before with my boyfriend and some friends, and I had a blast! We actually might go for a second time tonight However, there are a couple of rules that I have: I don't care about him looking or tipping, or even putting cash in a g-string. But lap dances for him are a no-go. He also can't go to a strip club…

You may see a jump in the scale at first, but I really don't think you will ultimately gain the weight you are looking to on only 1400/day. Was 1900 calories/day what was recommend by a doctor? If so, I would continue to try and make it up to there, and continue to have your health monitored. You're body will become more…

Hm, I guess it came out lower in my mind.

I'm too busy sleeping in, so it's hard to find the time to eat when I can sleep till noon! heh. I have actually eat less on the weekend, but that's because I'm a shutterbug and I don't find myself out drinking (which would really get me). If I go out with friends it's usually something tame, like bowling or the movies or…

Girl, I took a look at your diary and you're hardly netting any calories! One day you didn't even eat 1000 calories, and burned another 400! That's only a net of 600 calories! That's very low, and you need to calculate the correct amount of calories you need to eat (which you'll find is at least a little more than you're…

I never have cheat days. If I want something yummy, I just work it into my goals for the day. Satisfies my craving, and my overall goals :)

I have systematic lupus, and with that also come joint pain that I'm hoping wont develop into RA (but you know how AI disease are). Welcome! People from all health backgrounds can still strive to better their lives through diet and exercise, even through the pain.

Just know that it can be done-avoiding the temptation. Make sure to eat before going over, and pack snacks. You could also offer to entertain at your home where there are less temptations (if that's an option). I know it's hard, my roommates eat nothing but yummy junk, but it helps when you have your own meals and snacks…

OOh I forgot about Chinese food! I could really go for some of that :3

I'm lucky enough that my boyfriend is eating healthy with me, or else I'd have to watch him eat fast food every day at lunch!

Thanks guys, appreciate it!

I look up sushi calories- online, from different menus- and use the highest estimate. Example: I eat avocado rolls often, and I usually put those in about 190 a roll (most everywhere lists them between 140-150 cal) that way I know I'm safe :)

Before I got my HRM, I want by what the elliptical/treadmill said. I would enter my age, and I would enter my weight as a couple pounds lighter than I was ( I figured it would help the burn be more accurate). After I got my HRM, I did notice that it was off by a good bit. Example: I burned 750 calories according to the…

I LOVE squash and zucchini. Pair it with chicken, and it makes for a yummy dinner!

Very! I know it's all about the measurement and not the scale, but I haven't lost any inches either- so really either would be most welcome!

** so I also did just read that "according to an Institute of Medicine formula based on getting 14 grams of fiber for every 1,000 calories." So maybe that is where they devise their number from. ^.^
