Has anybody else added Thrive to their program? I started it this morning and hoping it gets me past my lull !

Taking vitamins (whether through pills or a patch) is fine but hardly magic and won't cause weight loss.

I've deleted a few facebook friends over Thrive and their obnoxious promotion of it. That's as close as I've come.

I have a couple of friends who swear by it (and did lose weight while using it). I personally don't care for it.

There's nothing wrong with the product ( it's mostly vitamins, nutrients and a bit of caffeine/sugar) but you still need to watch your calorie intake while using Thrive if you are trying to lose weight- the product itself isn't supposed to make you drop lbs.

The only issue is that it is so expensive, and they usually set you up for an autoshipment every month which is super annoying. When I tried a free sample of the shake, pill and the DFT patch one morning ( courtesy of the thrive friends) I HATED the way I felt. I was shaky and jittery, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest for almost two hours. However, I am more effected by caffeine then the usual person, so I may be a bit of an outlier.

Hello -- I've been Thriving for a month. I watch my calories, log food here on MFP, and use a Fitbit. In the month I'm down 8.8 pounds. I like the way I feel on Thrive- more energized. I'm looking for friends who are also Thriving. Feel free to add me.

Thrive is a joke. Its not alone going to cause weight loss. You'll need a calorie deficit for that. There's no magic pills or patches. You will have to put in hard work. Multi level marketing scams offer low quality products at a high cost

I had WLS in 2014 and have to take vitamin supplements and shakes to supplement my protein and thrive is less expensive than the bariatric ones. The latest blood work shows I'm doing great on it!

I don't feel jittery and I'm super sensitive to caffeine and still drink my morning coffee... In fact I mix my thrive shake in with my coffee because I don't like the taste.

Now that I have had a necessary surgery recently I'm losing again and feel very satisfied with the Thrive so have to force myself to eat lunch.

Like others have said though it's not a magic wand it still takes work and I'm still wearing my Misfit Shine 2 and keeping track of everything I eat. It's another tool just like my WLS.

Thrive isn't a weight loss supplement. Any promoter, if they're a good promoter, will tell you that. It fills in nutritional gaps so that you won't feel drained and tired. Does it help with weight loss? It can. It gives you energy which, in turn, helps you to get moving more. If you're not tired, then you won't be guzzling syrupy coffee, cokes, or candy for the extra energy. Also, any one taking Thrive will tell you that you're supposed to eat and Thrive promoters encourage eating better. The shake is NOT your breakfast. You're supposed to eat about 30 minutes after. It still takes hard work and determination. It is NOT A quick fix weight loss magic pill.
