for tailbone pain get a lumbar support pillow for your car! this saved my life. It forces you to sit up straight and adjust the position of your hips so you're not leaning back and resting your weight on your tail bone. I will not drive without it! completely solved my tailbone issues and also strengthened my back muscles…

I tend to put in a bunch of different combinations of meals and portion sizes until I find the one that fits what I'm aiming for. Sometimes I'll end up changing my dinner even after I prelogged in the morning but I still prelog right before eating it so I know I'm still okay.

I weigh myself everyday. It motivates me, even if it goes up slightly, although I prefer down obviously. I feel like it reminds me to eat healthy and not slack. If I have a jump, because of eating out the day before, I just tell myself its water weight from salt and normally it is and balances out a day or two later.

haha I'm such a nerd I love the graphical rogress reports! I wish myfitnesspal smooth it out as well. Although it is still interesting to see the trend.

maybe you're so hungry first thing in the morning because you're starving yourself at night? try a few days of larger dinners and see if that changes how you feel first thing? I for some reason want to eat my big meal at the end of the day and so I save calories for then because I know I won't be satisfied 'mentally' with…

"It takes 4 weeks for your body to start changing, 8 weeks for you to notice and 12 weeks for your friends and family to notice" I stole this quote from someone else :) But I found it really helps me. I'm 3 weeks in and feeling a little discouraged that I'm not seeing 'dramatic' results. But the simple fact is that its too…

Friend me! I also enjoyed Daria nice picture :) and having friends really helps me stay on track

Although I'm well past the point in my life that I should care, I'm thinner then all the mean girls who were jerks to me when I was chubby in high school! and I've managed to stay that way for almost 10 years.

haha yeah the fix makes it sound as if you do it once and your set for life. I mainly ordered it because I've found that I have the most success with home workout dvds. This one comes with 7 different 30 minutes exercises so that I can be consistent daily (so I don't quit) and also so I hopefully won't get bored. I have…

Add me if you want! I'm doing the 21 day fix program right now, on day 2. Trying to prep for my sisters wedding at the end of september. But I'm also just sick of eating unhealthy and being sedentary, so hoping to make it a lifestyle change. I'm a super geek lol I'm a neuroscientist and into all things zombie, fantasy,…

add me if you want. I am doing the 21 day fix program, which is pretty high protein and low carb, although they allow some carbs.

thanks! I figured I was in an okay range since I am on the low calorie side (1200). But I just wanted to make sure I was doing this right. I'm trying to both use their containers and also myfitnesspal so that I have a semi clear idea of what I'm eating. I know it won't be 100% correct since I'm not weighing but I'm trying…

Hi I'm starting today. Just did Day 1 feel free to add me and we can motivate each other! This is my first round so fingers crossed. I'm prepping for my sisters wedding at the end of september

thanks for all of the replies! it seems like most people think it is fun but expensive. Which is what I thought might be the case. I'll use my free week and see how it goes. I think the appeal for me is that it might motivate me to try cooking new things. I'm in a pretty boring rut for what I cook at home and as a result…

thanks for the help. I guess I was worried with no risers I would not be getting that great of a work out. But I would prefer that to damaging my knee. I'll you-tube some tips

thanks for the input everyone! I know a full hour is always better but some days that is just not a possibility. these are some good ideas :)

thanks for all the responses! I'm glad people liked them. I hate to buy something that never gets used :)

I never realized that the first ingredient was sugar! so I guess that is interesting

I try to but some times it is just to hard. For example this weekend I was at a backyard cookout for 10 hours and basically was snacking on little bites of things. I'm sure I overate but I didn't bother logging because I have no idea exactly how much of each thing etc so it wouldn't even be close to accurate. I hate…

Not a recipe, but f or lunch I bring Amy's Kitchen Frozen indian food. They have a few different kinds all vegetarian and delicious! probably not as cheap as cooking yourself but great if you are slow in the morning like me.

it seems counter intuitive but just like interviewing someone for any kind of job you do need to interview your doctor or your therapist as well! If they don't sound like they know what they are talking about go see someone else! I can't stress how important this is. I had some back problems and had to see 4 different…

I'm trying to lose somewhere around 10 pounds and get toned up. Feel free to add me if you want. I'm 5'6

Maintenance is hard! I had been successfully doing it for about 6 years and then started to creep upward in the past year or so. My sister in law once said something about how jealous she was that I never had to worry about my weight and I was like "no I think about food constantly and consider everything I put in my mouth…

Congratulations you look great!

I would eat some of it and then throw the rest out.

Hi everyone! Please add me to! I'm just starting out but planning to track everything (eating and working out). I like to see what kind of food people are eating to stay in calorie range. This has been the hardest for me, as I didn't realize how much I was eating (even though I thought I wasn't so bad).
