  • you look great! I'm 5'8" 158 and size 10 but some brands size 8. I am not in very good shape. I could use a lot more muscle :(
  • I'm in the same boat. I have been in maintenance mode since mid January and still feel very obsessed with counting and planning meals. I tried to not think about it and just log at the end of the day, but then I find I am a few hundred calories above maintenance and have put a few lbs back on. I think I will have to go…
  • You are amazing! I am now in that position. "skinny-fat." You are a great motivator!
  • I think this is a good workout for anyone no matter if you have 130lbs to lose or 5. its a good exercise. I think its more about losing inches than losing weight, which is always a good thing too.
  • I did! I bought a pair of gap jeans on sale in my goal size a little over 2 years ago. Then I got pregnant. Had my little girl last April and then set to work on me mid June. the pants fit by August! and I just so happen to be wearing them now:) I see nothing wrong with buying something as a reminder of your ultimate goal.
  • amazing work on your hips/thighs! I'm 5'8" and started at 188 in June after having my last baby. I'm at 158 now and wear mostly size 10 but just bought a size 8 that fits!!
  • I tried on a pair of cargo pants today at the store in my "new" size...they seemed a little big on the waist so I went back to the rack and tried on a pair in SINGLE DIGITS and they fit great! also bought a couple size Medium shirts as my Larges were, well, too large!
  • THIS!!! I am 5'8" and graduated high school at 137. I was "skinny" now 12 years later I chose 160 as my initial goal as that would be just under the top range for BMI. I hit my goal mid January and decided to go a little lower. I think I have it set at 152. I am currently wearing size 10 pants, but they are getting too…
  • Well done! You are gonna rock this! man I need to try the 30DS again! I did level 1 twice but hated planks so quit at level 2. and congrats on the baby
  • Giving up flavored coffees. no Starbucks, no McCafe's, no iced coffee from the grocery store. I don't drink it for the caffeine. I drink it for the sweet sweet flavor. this is gonna be hard! but good on my waste line and my pocket!
  • Sadly she deactivated her account.
  • I LOVE this one! I agree with not depriving yourself. slow and steady wins the race. my weight loss started out rather fast (wasn't eating enough while breastfeed. thankfully it didn't hurt my supply) and slowed down greatly when I realized I would rather have more treats and work our more than be hungry at bedtime. but I…
  • I can't quote my source as I can't find it online again, but it said a 150 lb woman would have to drink 20 cans of diet pop a day for the amount of aspartame to be harmful.
  • I'm in! I also tried it the end of November, but hard to get a good workout in with a 4 year old and 8 month old. My goal day is February 11th (my 30th birthday) and I only have 1.6 impossible to lose lbs left to loose. this should get met here!
  • maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see anywhere where she said she is breastfeeding...just that she has a baby. but upping her calories is probably a good suggestion. not sure why everyone has to be so harsh when saying that.
  • This!!! I still have a little ways to go, but this is a great answer! I don't even have a true "before" picture b/c I have been avoiding the camera for quite awhile! I feel like I walk a little taller and have more confidence!
  • I have a few pounds to go, but I'm nervous about maintenance too. what I have heard is to slowly increase your calorie amount. so maybe 100 a day for a week and then another 100 if I don't gain.
  • I really enjoy lightly salted almonds. good crunch and lots of protein and fiber. I also LOVE blue diamond almond nut thins- pepper jack cheese. maybe not super good for me, but also not bad for me
  • I should be getting my DVD in the mail late this week! If you search 30 day shred or 30 DS on the message boards you will find lots of results and some pictures. It seems like for the most part people lose a lot more inches than weight.
  • yep, I have lost all of my eight (24 lbs since June 1st) just dieting alone. I just ordered the 30DS which will be here in a week so I'm hoping that will continue my weightloss as it has stalled the last 2 months.
  • well done! you are even standing taller!
  • My friend and I just ordered 30 day shred today. can't wait to get it in the mail! I've seen such great results pics on here!
  • Can't wait to hear others feedback as we are very similar measurements, but I'm still in size 10:( I have a 4 year old and 6 month old and have lost 25 pounds (at 163 right now) just with a calorie deficit but need to start exercising. Hoping for good input for both of us!
  • We are very similar! I started out at 185 (after having 2nd baby) and am at 162-163ish. original goal was 160 but thinking 155 would be great.
  • Well done! I would love to throw out the Halloween candy! My son would be heartbroken though. And great job at avoiding the pizza at work! Work is where I am tempted the most b/c people bring treats for the birthdays. Yesterday there were 10 different types of oreos. unfortunately I gave in...
  • I'm 5'8" and currently weigh 163. I wear a size 10 pants. I know that I am healthy. To me there is a difference between thin and skinny. I would never want to be skinny again. I was skinny when I graduated high school at 137 and wore a tiny size. I have had 2 children now and feel that at 150-160 is perfect for me. Its…
  • 5'8" starting weight/size: 185/14 current 164:10 goal: 160:10
  • I need to lose 3-5 more pounds to reach my weight goal. BUT my goal by Christmas is to lose that, keep it off, and do a lot of toning! All my weight loss has been through a calorie deficit, so I am still at 37% body fat even though I am now in my BMI range (5'8" and 163).
  • baby carrots or sugar snap peas blue diamond almond nut thins. try them!!! eggs turkey sandwich meat on a sandwich round with spicy brown mustard 100 calorie pack of fudge covered pretzels or sugar free pudding grapes or apple
