Hi all. 44 year old wife and mom of a 5 year old. After spending my 20's and early 30's very overweight, I lost well over 100 lbs after weight loss surgery 11 years ago. However, here I am... far healthier but still working at it. My goal is to weigh less than my husband lol and to be a positive role model of great…

Now that is progress!!! Good for you!!

Amen!

You look gorgeous now at 310... I suggest you take up boxing or some sort of self defense so you can beat them off when you hit your goal!! Great work so far!!!
-
Excellent points!!!

Those as well as SNL's skits on it were damn funny. As for using one, I think you'd benefit much more from using real dumbells.

I have all but abandoned salad dressings and do not miss them. My favorite thing is just squeezing half a lemon on it. It's GREAT!!! And little to no calories!!

Thanks for this post :) I'm going to pick some of that up for an early Valentine's breakfast this Sunday. :)

I love the So Good products! What is your water intake like. I know when I am drinking ample amounts of water, my hunger seems to be curbed a lot.

I love working with Kettlebells. I started using them just to a workout I saw in Prevention magazine and also have the Jillian Michaels Shred dvd. Now I've got my hubby doing them with me!

That is what I discovered right away when I began logging my food. I could never work from home because I'd be eating all the time!

That is definitely frustrating. If you are making the right food choices, drinking ample water and kicking your butt with your workouts, screw what that scale is telling you and look to how you're feeling overall and how your clothes are fitting you. I have a pair of pants I regularly "check in" with and get so giddy when…

That took a lot of courage to share that with everyone. Congrats on your loss thus far. I once was 309 lbs but lost about 140 and then my weight went up about 50 lbs after having my son almost 2 years ago. I'm still working on getting to my goal of 150 (37 to go!) though and find this type of place helps support me in…

Welcome, I'm new here as well. Liking it so far!

I guess I should have mentioned, I lost about 22 lbs last spring using that other app and getting into the gym and following a paleo type diet. I think about half of that has creeped back up so I'm back to paleo and trying to get in more gym time. It is challenging having a 2 year old that goes to work with me and a…
