  • Most likely :)
  • I agree completely! I respond respectively, but inside I am fuming. For me, I will never be comfortable until I reach my goal. Compliments are nice but sometimes hearing the truth is like food for the soul. But I don't expect anyone other than my family to tell me that I guess. It would be rude. Very contradicting I know.
  • Thank you! It says my ideal body weight is 122 pounds. My recommended weight range is between 109-136 pounds. Well, I'm at 133 but I have a lot of weight in my belly and thighs. Literally, every where else is thin. But i have the belly of a 5-6 month pregnant woman. It's annoying.
  • My BMI is in the normal range. I am at 24, the lowest is 23. But my body is different. My doctor told me that even though I am at a healthy BMI my body carries a lot of extra weight. My diet calories come from meats, veggies, oats, multi-grain foods. I try to get a lot of protein and fiber mostly. Everything I eat has…
  • I love this story!!!! I relate to you in so many ways. But my problem is, I hate receiving compliments and have people say to me, "You look fine, don't lose anymore weight". That really upsets me because I am not at the weight I want to be. I am capable of being so much more. Plus it puts the idea in my head that I can…
  • So if I do cardio 2-3x a week, I can do more strength training exercises? Should I just equal out my cardio and strength training per day?
  • My body fat percentage is 24%.
  • Thank you this is very helpful. I know its okay to have natural sugars from fruit. Do you know if there is a real difference from natural sugars to sugars from baked goods like cakes and cookies? In other words does your body except them as the same kind of sugar?
  • I know I said I gave my last reply but thank you!!!! I don't know why this is but yes I get derailed! Some people can have junk food and be fine. I can not! Though I am struggling to learn, it is a battle. It is not just about cookies. I was being ridiculous as I had said. It is about learning how not to go overboard after…
  • One more reply from me...I understand about the cookies. I was being ridiculous. I will have a few later just for you guys ;)
  • Thanks for the comments, really needed them. Yes I have a very addictive personality and tend to be obsessive. Don't feel like paying a therapist. This is why I have you guys :) Luckily I only obsess over this though. But then again so is everyone on MyFitnessPal or any weight loss plan or website. Unless you are…
  • Like this comment, you are perfectly right. Typically it is not a binge. My history of binging makes it a binge. But I think I need to start over new then and treat it for what it is. Thank you for being my perspective :)
  • Thank you this makes me feel better :) Any advice on my goal weight then? Like I said, I was thin growing up but just kept eating and weighed 160 pounds. My sister is my age, an inch shorter and around 106-108 pounds. My fitness trainer did a body comp on me too and said I should weigh the same. What are your opinions on…
  • LOL this is so true. But it is not just about cookies. I guess in the end I am wondering what happens when I am over my calorie intake in general? Mostly by eating fat, greasy foods. Should I just take it for what it is and move on? The reason I am asking is I guess I don't want to binge and think that I wasted my whole…
  • So awesome to hear everyone's stories :)
  • Agree completely! I find I do better when I am being as careful as possible. I was on a 1200 calorie day diet and burning 400 calories or more on exercise! I was completely uneducated and went with what I assumed I needed to do(1200 calories a day +exercise). Little did I know I was depriving myself a ton of calories my…
  • I know for women, we should consume no less than 1200 calories a day. Below is where the risk comes in. If you want to exercise and get toned you need to be eating more calories and working out on a daily basis. So like eating 1500 calories a day and burning 500 calories through exercise. That brings you back to 1200. It…
  • Yes I had this problem too! So MFP tells you the calories you need to consume in order to reach your end goal. Then it tells you the calories that you burned from exercise. Last, your net calories. For example. I want to lose 2 pounds a week and my goal for daily calorie intake is 1200 calories. But let's say I exercise…
  • I agree with the opinion that BMI isn't everything! I am at my BMI and I am still chunky around my mid-section and thighs. It is all about image and self esteem for most people who are in the healthy range. Yeah I am considered healthy, but I don't want to consistently buy jeans that may fit my thighs but are squeezing the…
  • Hi! I saw your post and want to let you know you are not alone! So I have been trying to lose weight since I was 13 years old! Sounds weird but yes I have always struggled with my body image. My mom was a single mother who had a full time job with three kids. No healthy meals and fast food most nights of the week. My…
  • HI! I do Tracy Anderson and am her biggest fan. I have also done Jillian... I would think being sore is a good thing and means you are tearing through muscle. But I think everyone is different. I am only happy with exercise through dance and that is why I love Tracy Anderson. I was always getting bored with workouts and I…
