I workout about 5-6 times a week, usually about an hour long consisting a mixture of weight-lifting and cardio. I weigh myself everyday. I do notice that the day after my "rest day" - I weigh less than I do during my workout days. Usually about 1-2lb difference for me.

That's amazing! Congrats! Do they incorporate weights in that program? (I want to tone and build muscle at this point.)

I'm currently doing the LIIFT4 program from beach body and love it so far! I'm on week 6. I was wondering about 80 Day Obsession...was thinking of trying it after LIIFT4. Sounds like a great program. Can anyone share their results with 80 Day?

There is also a program called None To Run. Check out their website www.nonetorun.com. I felt that program was better for me than the C25k when I first started running. Here is an example of Day 1 on None to Run 12 week program: Walk briskly for 5-minutes. Then alternate between 30- seconds of slow running and 2-minutes of…

I definitely want to complete a "beginner" 14er. Possibly June? And what do you pack?

I've always wanted to try trail running as well, but wondered where to start since I only do regular running. I live in Northern Colorado as well. Ever heard of the Crazy Legs 5k? It's a trail run at Horsetooth... although the whole mtn lion incident has me a bit nervous now! Ha!

Exactly!!

I use the elliptical as a cross trainer for running. And I will have to look into Hal Higdon as others mentioned. I’m not following a specific plan currently.

Yes!! I prefer it, just not in the winter. Excited by better weather in the Spring!

Me!! This is my first time of Liift4 - I enjoy it! I just wonder if the time working out is enough?? I'm on Week 2 (leg day tomorrow). I usually do 20-30 minutes of cardio right after. I try to get at least 60 minutes of exercise 5 days a weel. I only have a few more pounds to lose, but ultimately, my new goal is to tone…

It depends on your BFP (Body Fat Percentage)...the lower you get that, the more they will show. At your height, lets say you are 120, but your BFP is at 30%...no way you see abs at that percentage. You would need to lower that percentage regardless of weight.

Checking in: 76.6 miles Way to go everyone!

Checking in: walked/ran 7 miles yesterday! Total 30.38 miles.

I'm in too! I need to try to get more active as well...desk jobs are horrible for that. So far for me 23.85 miles down!

I take Levoxyl for my hypothyroid issues. I've been on it since 2004. I started eating right and exercising in mid June and really haven't seen an issue. I think it's different for each individual though...

I do all my workouts now from fitnessblender.com. Check them out!

Thanks for everyone's input. So what can I do to increase the my fat percentage being lost??
-
Most of my workouts come from Fitnessblender.com...they use weights in most of their workouts - still need to build my strength.

No. It's a handheld device that the nutritionist store I go to has. The numbers I've posted come from their scales and BF handheld device.

I'm 5'4" and I was wearing 13/15 pants at 156. I lost 10 pounds and now I can fit in a 10/11 comfortably.

Oatmeal breakfast: 1/4c steel cut oats 1 1/2c almond milk 1 banana 4 egg whites Dash of cinnamon

Congrats on losing that BF! Remember to take measurements of your body because the scale isn't everything. Edit: Keep track of your measurements so you can see how many inches you lose!
-
Thank you! This is my 6th week of eating healthy. Started with 33.4% BF, and checked that again 2 weeks ago and it dropped to 31%BF! Before...I would only eat twice a day, but very unhealthy and could easily eat 2500-3000 calories!! Now I eat 6 times a day and can stay under 1500!
-
Depends on the day, but usually around 500 for dinner plus about 150 evening snack.

I'm 5'4" too...my nutritionist has me on 35P/35C/30F...I have to play around with the numbers because MFP doesn't let me enter them exactly that way. My calorie intake is 1450-1500 or so.
