Nothing wrong with it I'm an omnivore but I still eat Quorn with Spag Bol or lasagne and I think it tastes good.

Ive lost 61 pounds since February 2011 my target was 68 pounds off. I have been the same weight now for 3 months but I'm comfortable with that because I have proved I can maintain and that I can still enjoy myself but watch what I eat and exercise to earn more calories if I need to. As for the 7 pounds to the target, that…

Well done I still clock in as overweight having lost 60 pounds but boy do I feel better for it
-
If you can walk do it. You don't have to break any records, You don't need a gym. get out on the streets or into the countryside, a bit of fresh air helps as well
-
Most likely the battery

OK so it appears everything we eat and drink increases our chances of catching something or a greater risk of Cancer Personally I would rather carry on eating what I enjoy in moderation, drink what I want in moderation go out and enjoy walks in the fresh air and die happy!!!
-
Well I'm not sure about everyone else but I've lost the will to live now!!! I intend to keep exercising and eating back some or all exercise calories and keep the 60 pounds I've lost off. We all have our own way, if it works for you go with it, if not try something else and above all don't get upset when people have a bit…

OK so you exercise so what's your point?? Simple fact if you have set your calorie target to lose weight and exercise there is no harm in eating back some or even all calories excercised because basically you still eat below maintenance calories and therefore should lose weight. If you don't eat all exercise calories back…

Best response of the night but there again some people don't want help
-
Yes you would as long as you have calores set to lose weight and don't eat back more than you burn!!
-
I can't see whats funny about dangerous driving !!!
-
Everyone is different sites like this and gym equipment can only use an average. I would be more inclined to believe the HRM (assuming you have it set properly). I know mine works it is consistant and when I have a cold etc calorie burn goes up as the heart is working harder
-
I ususally put my own in there are lots of incorrect things on MFB i'm sure some don't even read labels properly!!!
-
So don't read it then I personally think that spending time on these Blogs is more obsessive than counting the days after all it's not Facebook!!!!!
-
Everyone is different if they want to see how many days they have done then why not? The weight loss is the important thing but keeping track of how long it's taken by a simple days logged score is not a bad thing.
-
Thats an awful lot of weight to lose in a month the norm is 1/2 pounds a week which is considered healthy plus the slower you lose the less likely you are to regain
-
Quite right and don't I know it !!!!
-
Having only lost one stone I doubt the measurements are right seems far too much
-

I personally find standing on the scales normally works lol!! Seriously once a week at the same time works for me.

This is the second post on negative foods today and its a myth. All foods contain calories and your BMR setting allows for any chewing / digestion etc. so they are countable. That said everything listed is healthy food and will help keep you regular but this is part of a balanced meal.
-
Do you have a heart rate monitor? That way you can see how many calories you actually burn (REMEMBERING OF COURSE TO DEDUCT THE BMR ALLOWANCE). Then you can eat back with more confidence.
-
You have the right intentions and if you stick to this and change your lifestyle there is no reason why you should not suceed. I look at photos of me in February this year when a walk in the Yorkshire Moors seriously made me realise how close I was to giving myself a heart attack and think never again. I was introduced to…

There is no right or wrong when setting targets, if you are comfortable with short term then fine, If you lose weight but don't reach your target in time don't worry because you have lost weight, I've always mainatined this is a lifestyle change not a diet or a race to lose weight its a process of healthy weight loss by…
-
You have said it all if you can stick to it you will achieve your goals. Remember its not what you eat, its how much and it's a lifestyle change not a diet. Good Luck keep us up to date with progress
-
The whole point of MFP is a lifestyle change and losing weight is not a race. 1 to 2 pounds a week is a healthy way to lose weight and if you take off weight too quickly you are more likely to put it back on again quicker. Also having net deficit calories only works for so long because too many and you could go into…

Unfortunately thats what we are told however my view is I will get down to a weight that I feel comfortable at and look right at and let the others argue if that is right for me or not. I am 5ft 11 I'm told I should be 178 pounds (12 stone 10) and I would look ill. I am aiming for 189 to 196 pounds (13 and a half to 14…

Be patient you are likely to burn off fat initially and in my case it was only when I started excercise to tone the muscles that I lost the inches and it doesn't happen overnight You are doing well keep going and good luck

One pound per day??? Are you sure The most you should look to lose is 1 to 1.5 pounds per week. Looks as if you have set up incorrectly
