I know the feeling. I'm 5'3 and have lost 27 pounds and no one has said anything.... my husband *knows* I've lost it so he compliments but apparently it's not noticeable :\ Frustrating but I know people will notice eventually. I'm doing this fully and totally for me but it's really awesome to get the compliments as well.…

I'm almost 5'3. started at 193 and am currently 1/2 way to my first goal of 140. It's been a long slow and frustrating 10 months but progress is progress! Ultimate goal is 125 again.

You look amazing!!! We are very close in our start & goals and seeing you close to where I want to be is very inspirational! Well done!!!

Ditto! I weigh when I'm as empty as possible :)

No need to assume there is anything wrong with our marriage or sinister going on. What works for one couple doesn't work for another. Pretty simple actually. Thanks for y'alls answers, I can't say I didn't get feedback :P. He actually has very little to lose right now so this is really just about him learning more about…

All my RL friends on my list are far away from me... a few in the same state but none I see more than twice a year. However, we also have a small FB group where we post all the chitchat and TMI crap that goes along with getting healthy :)

Wow, thank you all for the feedback. Much appreciated. Regarding logging for him, I would eventually give it over to him once the db is seeded, but he'd get really frustrated with the learning process in the beginning. Also, I do all the cooking so I'd have to input dinner if it's a recipe I use.

HAHAHA!!! that's how I felt when he mentioned he should start paying attention and tracking on "that fitness site you use". I'll most likely add him, I have nothing to hide... I'd just be giving up this one space that is ALL ME.
-
So you understand! Food for thought, thanks!

No, nothing like that. MFP is just kind of a place for "ME" on my journey to healthy. I'm trying to figure out why I wouldn't want him here, but it's more like MFP is my "alone time" with it all. Not sure that makes sense. I let him read over my shoulder whenever he wants to, whether on the phone or at the computer....

I hated Metformin and all the other meds, hate hate hate hated them. It didn't help that I didn't like my doctor either. I quit the meds and started using LGI eating as well as exercising and it fixed a lot of my problems. I was losing weight very slowly but I FELT BETTER w/o all the meds and sugar crashes & spikes and I…

Looking forward to this challenge! My arms are lunch lady flabby and they are also one of my most self conscious spots. I can't wait to see the change and to gain some strength!!

When I started those, I was doing them with Toms on laminate flooring and a thin rug. So much pain. The routines induce a lot of pressure from jumping and use of your feet (especially the balls) so I definitely recommend decent shoes. Sketchers makes a wonderful "Go Walk" series that are snug to your feet, breathe, and are…
