I have hit a plateau as well. I have been eating very clean at 1200 to a max of 1500 calories per day. (In eat back 300 exercise calories a day). I work strength with a kick-*kitten* workout 3 times a week with a personal trainer and do other strength and cardio a minimum of 6 days per week. I am taking part in 2 "Fit"…

You look AWESOME. I had to laugh when I read your header. They ALL say that. But then they aren't sculpted nicely like you are. What a myth, eh? Some heavy weight training does a gal good!

What a hoot! I have this phenomenon all the time. It all evens out EVENTUALLY if you're PATIENT. I can go up 3-5 pounds in a day eating my normal 1400 calories a day, and then drop 4 in a heartbeat. Crazy *kitten* body. Water just HAS to have a lot to do with it! Got a good chuckle out of your post!

Land's End (www.landsend.com) has some nice two piece choices with skirted bottoms that have a high waist. They just bare a bit of the midsection. They are really attractive on a variety of body types. How wonderful for you that you have shed so much weight! Best wishes as you continue on your journey!

You look terrific. What a great story. I am working with a personal trainer who is really upping the weight from what I am used to strength training with. Hope to see some good results. You are an inspiration!

I put on 26 pounds in the last 10 months so I feel your pain. Would be happy to support you. My goal for 2014 is to be in the best shape/health of my life. I know I can do it ... I've done it before. But I had the support of a lot of wonderful people here on MFP! You can do this again, too!

I absolutely love step class. You can increase the aerobic c intensity even more using hand weights. It's great for the legs, too. I've been doing it for years, among other things of course, and never tire of it. A lot of gyms stopped offering it in lieu of other activities such as the new kettlebell craze, but many still…

Oh my! You look fantastic and oh so happy! Congratulations! All your efforts really paid off. Keep up the good work!

You look great. The difference in your face alone is amazing! Best wishes as you continue on your journey!

Super results. Congrats. And doesn't it feel good to actually see yourself the way others see you? Terrific!

Okay so lots of suggestions here but no one really addressing the potential "addict" in you. I am a member of another twelve step program. I believe my truly addictive tendencies carry over to food as well. I can empathize with you on finding empty wrappers (in the neighborhood of six or ten) and not even realizing I have…

My instructor burns 1000-1200n calories an hour on her HRM. I'm only good for about 400 on mine. Could partly be due to calibration of devices. However, she weighs a bit more so she naturally burns some more calories. Zumba is good for you any way you slice it. Have fun with it and ENJOY! After all the more you like it,…

Wow you really ROCKED it this year.. Love how you are breaking this up into manageable goals. First the diet, then the fitness. Best wishes as you journey forward!

Phenomenal goal! Love this entire Fitspiration thread. Wish I would have found it sooner. Thanks callmecupcakedammit for the heads up!

I am 52 and have a bit of a different situation. I don't have anyone else in the household with me, so I am accountable only to myself. Now you would think that would make things easier ... no temptation, right? WRONG! The committee in my head is more than happy to tell me "it's okay" to eat a little chocolate, or buy just…

I love my FT7. I have literally used it at least once per day every day since April 2012. The calories that the various sites propose are way off for my actual burn. I burn much less because I weigh less. If I used the numbers on the sites I would be 20 pounds heavier, lol. What a way to cheat, eh??? Seriously, it's been a…

@ patentguru: Like the way you think!

LOVE THE T-SHIRT!

That is phenomenal that you would be doing what you are doing at 60! A gal after my own heart. I am 52 and hope to be as fit as you are when I catch up to you. I'm glad there is at least ONE other person who doesn't take a rest day. I am certainly in the minority. Folks make it sound like I am really sabotaging my fitness…

You look FABULOUS in number 4. The style is wonderful on you and the fabric really compliments your coloring. I'd go for it. What a great way to choose your dress! FUN! Enjoy your reunion whatever you decide!

Hmmmph ... I guess with that response I'd be eating somewhere other than Applebee's!

I'll send a friend request. We all need help with our programs. I find so much inspiration and motivation here on MFP. I can't get enough of it!
-
Don't get down on yourself. It is tough to be on your game all the time. There is no better motivation I can think of than that scale starting to go the wrong direction. Been there, done that! When I get disgusted enough with myself I seem to find my resolve and all kind of energy to move forward again with my clean…

Wow - You look absolutely FANTASTIC! Can't imagine how much better you must feel now that you have shed all those pounds! Terrific job. It's like you aren't even seeing the same person ... and in a way I'll bet we're not!
-
Love 'em roasted, too! Just a tad of salt, pepper and a little cooking spray. Bake until tender. If you put on baking sheet, the outsides will crisp up. And they are very good FOR YOU to boot!
-
What an inspiration you are! You look terrific. As someone who has been on maintenance for nearly two years, I know what a struggle that can be. But I would bet you are like me in that you NEVER want to go back from where you came from! I lost 42 pounds and at 52 feel the best I have ever felt in my life. I depend on MFP…

OMGosh! You are like a different person - looks like you are half of what you were. Congratulations again. All your effort really has paid off. I'll bet you felt like a million bucks when you put that dress on!
-
Love the pics. Thanks so much for posting! Really gives me some inspiration!
-
You look totally awesome! After two years of maintenance, staying within 4 pounds of goal, I have managed to add 8 pounds since the beginning of December. I continue to count on MFP to help me manage - what will once again be weight loss. You are a true inspiration - five years - wow. If you can do it for five, I can get…

You look absolutely FANTASTIC! Kudos to you. All your hard work surely paid off!
