when someone asks me if I'm on a diet I say "Nope, I'm on fluff patrole". My other favorite is referring to my insulation and its movement as my "Jiggle factor".

I try to eat the majority of my calories during the day, having lunch be the most heavily caloric. I eat snacks in between as well (eat about every3 hours). The key is to make sure you have enough PROTEIN with every meal/snack. Protein takes longer to break down and therefore keeps you feeling dull longer. Plus protein is…

You need to NET at least 1200 calories a day. I say eat back some of your excercise calories. I try to NET the calorie goal set by MFP. You are probably in starvation mode. So keep up the awesome exercise and food tracking, just eat more.....I bet you never thought that would be the answer!!! :)

I think most important is calories in vs calories out. Exercise is key, especially strength training since muscle burns more. I have heard that eating a good amt of protein is key and to keep your carbs lower than your protein. Water is also super important. I am sure that you have plateaued because you haev lost such a…

I'm sorry, that is really unfortunate. I am sure the motivation behind their comments is jealousy. Having a family with weight issues myself, when I am doing healthy things for myself, there have been times when it seems like they are trying to sabbotage me. Just stay strong....you are ding this for YOU and no one else.…

Even when you take the "natural" weight loss meds they mess with your metabolism and then when you stop them your metabolism will slow way down and many will re-gain the weight. Even with the "natural" meds, they can lead to portal hypertension (high bloos pressure), arrythmias (irregular heart rate), tachycardia (elevated…

Awesome, What a great feeling!

I know you must feel frustrated, but don't give up. Be sure you are keeping hydrated and if you are doing weight training you can be replacing fat with muscle and not losing actual weight, but loss of fat is equally as important. Hang in there! :flowerforyou:

I'm in the same boat....we can help each other. I need to get this extra fluff off me!!!!

Most likely, if you can feel your muscles firming up, you are not losing weight because you are burning fat but building muscle at the same time. Also, the lean muscle burns fat for fuel. I would recommend doing measurements, I bet you are losing inches as you are toning and losing fat, it is just not showing on the scale.…

OMG.....I have always been a head sweater. I have even thought about getting botox in my hairline because it will help control sweating. I have learned that the best control for the dripping is to put your hair up, like in a bun so the sweat will just absorb in the hair. And then I wear a bandana or a headband (the 3 in…

you just keep plugging away. just do what you can do and listen to your body, not your friend. i would like to know what sort of workout this friend of yours does that she is belittleing the AWESOME exercise you are doing! maybe it is a jealousy thing. live for you and no one else. no one else knows your strenghts,…

i read it and thought it was a compliment too. although it is straneg for a stranger to compliment you on your hips, some people don't have much of a filter. either way, try and brush it off, as hard as we all know that is and know that you are awesome just as you are!!!
-
what a great idea and gift. i would also recommend to pack lots of snacks, in pre-measured servings that you can munch on too.

i started really feeling heavy around 4th grade. i was not a fat kid...but i was a solid kid.....i was tall and muscley...i was in gymnastics and loved it. i remember stopping gymnastics because all my friends did. not long after that, before i would consider myself fat...my grandmother used to tell me "don't worry, you…
