Why is my daily Protein goal so low?? it is only 69 gm/day. I know about the role of protein when trying to lose weight and I shoot for 150 gm every day, but 69 gm seems low.

Any ideas? :ohwell:

I read in a health journal that your daily protein intake should equal your body weight multiplied by .37. Too much protein will actually damage your kidneys.

You can custome adjust your goals at any time to reflect what you believe your optimal diet would look like...I think you go to goals- settings -- change goals and adjust from there. I upped my protein recently and it has definitely helped. It is done by % so when you up protein--- fat or carbs go down... If you are taking in lots of protein, be sure you have the fiber and water intake to balance it out. Best wishes.
