  • If your daughter won't eat vegetables, organ meat (eg liver) is a good way to get vitamins in her. I know this wasn't part of the question but I thought it was something that could be addressed. Also google 'hidden vegetables' though I imagine you have tried that. http://chriskresser.com/natures-most-potent-superfood…
  • Upping the calories will mean you lose weight slower. However this is GOOD because you will be losing less muscle. If you lose weight too fast, you lose more muscle, and end up looking 'skinny-fat'. How tall are you? 150lb is very low for a guy. When you get to that weight, you should think about bulking - eat 200-500kcals…
  • Fibre doesn't have any calories. Well, I suppose it does but it's not absorbed by the body so it doesn't count. In the US, fibre is included in the total carb count on nutrition labels, so if you want to figure out your net carbs, you subtract the fibre. Elsewhere (eg here in the UK), fibre isn't included in the carb…
  • Don't log your exercise calories. However, if you want to eat more calories, then one of your macros will HAVE to change. Everything is protein, fat or carbs. If you exercise and therefore increase your calorie goal, then you've either got to increase those equally or go over your goal for one of them.
  • It took me several months to get from 45lb OHP to 55lb. I still can't do 5x5 55lb but I'm getting there. It's most people's hardest move. You can try different things, eg microloading (get really small plates, like 1lb), more reps, sets etc, until you can get to a higher weight. It won't progress as much as your other…
  • Scale isn't 100% accurate. or you were 150.1lb, sweated a bit, now you're 149.9lb. So if your scale doesn't have decimals, it looks like you went from 150lb to 149lb.
  • I would suggest you look for a workout created by somebody else rather than making one up on your own. How many reps/sets do you do? Do you up the weights each workout? What are your goals? As a general guide, 5-8 reps per set is for strength, while 8-15 is for hypertrophy (bigger muscles). I personally do stronglifts 5x5,…
  • OK sorry I meant no added sugar. I called them cupcakes because to me they have a pretty cupcakey texture. They have sugar in them but also fibre from the fruit and protein from the powder and yoghurt to keep you full.
  • It's all sugar not just added sugar
