Do. NOT. Quit. Try with everything you have. Don't give up over one bad meal or one bad day. You don't want to be in this exact same situation this time next year. You don't want to think, "Wow, if I would have just stuck with it I could have been at goal by now..."

Good luck to you as well!

Welcome back and glad you're excited!

Hello. Awesome job choosing the healthier choices, it can be difficult. MFP will help, you just have to give it time. Good luck!

I can relate. I was ALWAYS heavier and though I didn't get teased very much, (to my face at least), my whole school career was difficult. Humans can be extremely rude. Tips: Don't do now what you can't do for the rest of your life, unless of course, you wanna come back here and do this all over again. Eat in moderation.…

I had the same exact thing happen earlier. Hearing/feeling my hips pop grossed me out so I had to stop before finding something else to do. It's awful. :noway:

I want to be able to wear cute, over-sized sweaters without them making me look like I'm as wide as a house. :noway:

I'm not really sure if it's going to go much further. A lot of members in the group but only a few did the September weigh in sheet. I guess people have just forgotten or whatever it may be.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I got pretty sick in June and ended up losing some weight, then became okay, gained some, got sick, lost it again. And I've been around that weight since August. I have a ton of reasons to get healthy but seriously sometimes I feel like I just don't care when I really do.…

My biggest piece of advice is take it easy. Take it day by day, even hour by hour. Eat enough. Don't under eat your daily goal thinking you're doing yourself a favor. Drink enough. Move around. Go for a walk. Try dancing of some sort. Don't start off too strong because that's what seems to throw people off the tracks. Me…

I had my gallbladder out a couple months ago on July 31st. I had been having trouble with it but for years I put it off and tried it ignore it as I was in school and didn't have time to deal with the recovery. I was TERRIFIED to be put under. The longer I put it off, the worse it got. I ended up with a VERY infected…

Hello there! I'm Lindsey and I'm 19. I had to get my gallbladder out at the end of July due to it being very infected and giving me liver disease+beginning stages of pancreatitis. I was extremely ill for two months before I had it removed and also lost a bit of weight during that time. I'm not a vegetarian, or a vegan but…

I was in second grade. We were going to learn our multiplication tables. I remember my teacher got choked up and he gathered us around on the floor in a circle and tried to explain what happened. The teacher's helper was in complete tears. Lots of parents came and got their kids to take them home. I know we were all a…

Oh my.. as everyone else requested, have a talk with grandma. Growing up, none of the adults in my family said anything about my weight but my brothers sure found it fun to tease me. It honestly wrecked my self esteem and paved the way for a whole lotta self-destruction. I couldn't ever imagine my grandma (may she rest in…

I have, once. Sitting in the living room watching tv late at night and heard the front doorknob being jingled and twisted. I haven't been that scared in a loooong time.

Jason, for sure. However, the only horror movie monster that ever scared me was Michael Myers... fdsjnfjds.
