Please can you tell me what you mean by 'below 200 and ultimately 125 and below'? Thanks!

Oh no! How many hours of exercise to actually lose then :(

Amazing journey, and you look fantastic! Well done you :)

Online counselling? Not ideal I know....

Will work out how to do this....!

Angenrod, have you set your stride in Fitbit? I discovered yesterday that we have to do that. Go to settings in fitbit.com.

Yes that might be it, I have now set my activity level to sedentary so will see how that goes. Mind MFP still gives me the same 1200 calorie allowance...

I agree with the above! I blended a portion of ratatouille which was a tasty 'drink'. (A bowl of ratatouille with a tablespoon of parmesan cheese has been my lunchtime friend this last week and packed the veggies in. I added a bit of chilli powder for a different taste.)

I am just brewing my first lot of water kefir. I've read that the longer you let it ferment the more sugar is used up...but also the alcohol content increases. I shall be disappointed if it's very sweet as. Don't like things too sweet :-/

I know just what you mean, its what works for you, that will work long term and is manageable and sustainable. I found a really supportive MFP link on here this morning but can't find it now, will message it to you when I find it!

Always love recipe sites - and low cal healthy ones are more than welcome, thanks for posting!

If your stomach is always bloated I would firstly strongly advise you to see your Dr, as without wanting to alarm you - there are some abdo/gynae problems that present in this way that need attention. All the best :-)

You are one busy lady! It sounds like you're hands full with your busy life, I would suggest that you take 5 and try to plan in your exercise for the week so you exercise less on the really busy days and more on those when you have more time. If you have a smartphone there are some great exercise apps that give you mini…

Bump - got to read the article!

Everything IveLanded has said! I started to run a year ago and couldn't do the C25K because it's targets were set much too high for me. So when I began I could just about run and walk from lamppost to lamppost and I very gradually increased this - when I was ready - to running for 45seconds, walking for 45 seconds and…

Sorry to hear that you've not been encouraged when you have been clearly very strong. There are many reasons why people don't like others losing weight, and these include sabotage - even from our nearest and dearest. Well done for staying so focused at a really tough time of year, don't listen to the 'nay-sayers' you have…

Mine has never played any beaty type music, they just put a radio station on so I listen to MOS running trax, one of which warbles - 'will you meet me half way?' !!!

Lol I'm with you :-D

Firstly - I haven't yet read the article! You are right that oats don't contain gluten, however oats can be contaminated in the processing and cause problems for those who are gluten sensitive. I know this from my cousin who has severe coeliac.

I'm the same Melanie, struggling to lose anything for months now, up and down the scale within a 4Ibs range. Eaten my calories, not eaten my calories, upped and lowered my daily allowance and nothing is working at all.

I've just started with this in the last few months though have a;ways had a 'problem bowel' Suspect food triggers for me are garlic, butter, wheat, tomaotes and possibly dairy. Have been looking into FODMAP's but many of the foods FODMAPS say to avoid are foods I am already avoiding as I'm on an arthritis diet. (Which has…

I agree with you, I think that anyone who is on here will / should see what is healthy and what isn't and we all have to make choices with what will work for us in our own lives long term. That's the whole point of it - what we do must be sustainable and regardless of whether a calorie is healthy or not - its still a…

439miles - not sure where (in the UK) they will take me from my home but you've got me intrigued now! My year is up at the end of February.

Helpful post, thanks!

Wow you look fantastic, an inspiration! really well done!

We don't have this, so far as I know, in the UK but we do have similar. I did the Cambridge diet some years ago when I was desperate to shed weight quickly and, whilst my nails and hair were in fantastic condition!, it did nothing for me long term - I was straight back onto the yo-yo at the end of it. If you really want to…
