It's a very thick type of yogurt.

Thanks very much! That does look very similar and since it has a weight, I should be able to figure out something similar next time I get the roll and weigh it.

Now I'm wondering if 150 grams was pre or post cooking. This particular product is frozen. It has frozen pieces of chicken, green beans, mushrooms and sauce that you combine together. It also calls for 1 TBS of oil. I would hope that is figured into the total calories. http://www.traderjoes.com/fearless-flyer/article/2388…

ah yes. 150 grams. I'll use that next time

Hello all. I was sleeved in 2010. Lost 75 lbs, which was my goal. Recently spiked up to my highest post sleeve which was 21 lbs up from my goal. Just recently got on the bandwagon and have dropped 5 of those. I'm trying to focus on nutrition and breaking those old habits. For me, watching tv at night and snacking.

don't worry about the number of calories. this is your golden phase where the sleeve is allowing the weight to really slide off. try to make sure that the little that you do eat is healthy. lean proteins, veggies, fruits, whole grains (yada yada yada). I ate similar calories at first but did not feel even close to fainting…

Congrats! I'm about 3 years out now. My ticker just shows the 15 lbs I put back on... Overall, I've lost about 70 lbs. I had the same reasoning, I wanted to enjoy the 2nd half of my life at a 'normal' weight wearing 'normal' clothes. Good luck! I have absolutely no regrets!!

thanks!

ok, I might try w/out the chia... I really did like the taste but not the texture. Maybe a bit less almond milk I wonder or more oats
that "slime" thing happening is probably from the chia
new here. Can you please link me to where I can figure out IPOARM?

Thanks all! I think I'll stick with this calorie goal and just see what happens this next week.

So, last night I tried a 'raspberry vanilla' 1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats 1/3 cup almond milk 1/4 cup greek yogurt 1/2 tsp chia seeds 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup raspberries (i used frozen) calories: 163 This is now the second recipe that I've tried. I love this idea and want it to work but I'm wondering if…

love it;)

great idea! I always drink dark because I lightened it with milk. I'll try a light roast!

Thanks so much for the great ideas! re: -ways to make cold iced tea - I might try putting a tea bag in a glass of water over night and then see what it's like the next day when I want a cool drink. -adding a bit of juice concentrate to sweeten - creative! -limes... (why have I only thought of lemons? I love limes!) and…

so... I've never made iced tea before. Do you mean when you put a bunch of tea bags in a container of water and leave it out in the sun? I make hot tea all the time and it seems like you need the boiling water to release the tea from the bags...

I believe those links are referring to fruit juice sold at the store, not what comes from a fresh squeezed lemon that you squeeze at home. I think I get your point though. We probably consume a lot of chemicals we are not aware of. I'm just tying to minimize when possible. I do use a PUR water filter as well.

great ideas! Today, I squeezed a fresh lemon into a water bottle, put a packet of Splenda, ice cubes and filled the rest of way with water. It was really good. It does have a sweetener but it 'seems' like 1 packet of splenda is still am improvement over a prepackaged powder drink as far as the amount of artificial things.…

I started out very high protein, plus I added exercise, plus just that feeling of starting something fresh. So far so good although I know the first week is relatively easy, it's the 'long haul' that is hard. That is a good idea though that I'm going to keep in mind if I start having a lot of carb cravings or difficulty…

What chemicals are in lemon water?

I have never been a fan of oatmeal but I'd like to try this as I'm so rushed in the morning with getting the kids to school. I have two questions 1. has anyone used almond milk instead of regular milk? 2. has anyone used frozen fruit instead of regular? I'm thinking about the organic frozen raspberries from Trader Joe's…

I'm 5'7.5" (I'm exactly 7.5 inches and I never know if I should but 7" or 8" so I usually put 7") I just started MFP a couple days ago but I was 160 lbs at the start and I'm 36 yrs old. At first I put sedentary but after a few days I realized that I'm up and around quite a bit with my two kiddos and I also was feeling…
