Great. I will post here daily as a personal goal. Glad you joined.

Small portions and skip dessert.

Try adding low-fat yogurt, chicken breast, plain oatmeal, olive oil or cottage cheese. They are good choices that can add protein and calories.

I weigh once a week...daily gets too obsessive.
-
It mostly about how much you eat...make sure you follow the amount of calories suggested.
-
fats and protein...peanut butter, lean meats, low sugar protein shakes

My husband had this problem and got fitted for different running shoes. Problem now gone...he uses Brooks running shoes.

That's so funny...I have been running for awhile now and feel the same way. I am also training for my first half marathon. Congrats on your race.

Increase your exercise and lift weights...this happens to me too. Some of us have to work even harder to lose weight. Make sure your getting enough veggies and protein too.

A lot of things I've read suggest making breakfast your largest meal of the day-about 500 calories. Then 500 at lunch and 400 or less at dinner.

A lot of times on this site people post stuff about feeling bad about their weigh loss goal progress etc....I say enough! Be proud of what you have done so far and that your getting out there everyday to exercise. THen ask yourself...I am really following the calorie count and am I challenging myself when I exercise?

I have yummy vegetarian recipe: Saute with olive oil: I can black beans, onions, 2 cloves fresh garlic, and 1-2 hot peppers. Add fresh tomato prior to serving over rice or quinoa. It is super easy and really tasty.

I like the TLC kashi granola bars-they have fiber and not too much sugar or fat.
-
5k today...did too much biking yesterday!!!
-
fage yogurt with flax, blueberries, strawberries and walnuts
-
Red wine is a great choice...shiraz is my fav. Two 3.5 oz are enough and are under 200 calories total.
-
ran a 5k in the pouring ran...just glad it isn't snowing.
-
I also do a 5k in about 27-28 minutes. I am glad to be out there and don't really worry about speed. I've read that if you do a hill or sprint when you hit a wall you improve speed overtime.
-
I ran a 5k....trying to train for a half marathon. Not sure if I will get there or not...willing to try.
-
Where do you run? I run outside too in WI. It was snowing and windy today. Tough run.
-
Do it. why not? give yourself some credit.
-
yoga?

Dawn dish soap strips color but I am not sure if you can dye again right away.

Set a time to stop eating for the day. I stop after 7 pm and it has really helped curb night snacking. This is hard to do, but weight loss is a great reward. Your partner can actually be support if you let them know what time you would like to stop eating for the day.

relax girly...even the best of us get sick. It is your right to have a sick day.

Any good ideas for protecting your airway when running in colder weather? I am trying to breathe through my nose but I can't do it.
