    Becca,
    Congrats on your weight loss!

You don't have to "go to the gym" at all! You can take your kids out in a double stroller and do 30-60 minutes of cardio a day walking around a local high school track! Get a $5 pedometer and make your goal to walk 10,000 steps a day. Or if you have access to a heart rate monitor, you can track your calorie burn even better!

"The best exercise is the one that you do!"

When you have little kids, it's really hard to find time for yourself, so consider doing something with them. Remember to bring lots of stroller entertainment so you can focus on you. And bring friends! There's nothing that will keep you breathing like lots of conversation.

That being said, strength training is important to build & maintain calorie burning muscle and "going to the gym" or doing some calisthenics (try Shape's website for some good routines) or following an exercise video three times a week for a half hour would be great. If you can find a strengthening class at the gym you like, you may find it easier to commit yourself once you have some friends you see regularly.

That's more thoughts than you asked for, but I've been there - home with 2 little kids and I feel for you!

Good luck! You can do it!

If you belong to a gym, try to make part of your daily routine. A bigger factor is the intensity of your workouts. I see many men and women working out at a level that is way too low. Get out of your comfort zone, push yourself beyond where you think you can go. Keep your heart rate up. Think about how hard those people on Biggest Loser work out. That is how hard we all should work out every trip to the gym. That is the way to get results. Good luck!

40 minutes of Cardio is best but it all counts. Weights should take 20 minutes or less. Try for 3 days and build from there.

I am in the gym 4-6 days a week, for about 1 to 1.5 hours per day. I also golf 3-5 times a week. I try to think of both as playtime, even when it doesn't feel that way.

I go to the gym 5 days a week. I do 30 minutes of hard core cardio making sure to burn 300 to 400 calories. I do abs everyday because they only need 24 hours to recover but I never do the same exercises 2 days in a row. Changing it up feels like I get more out of it. I then do about 15 to 20 minutes of weight training. In addition to the 5 days at the gym I go walking at least 3 days a week for 1.5 hours. ( I live by the beach so this is more for my head then my body).

I feel like I do more than most people but I am young and I've always been really active (but still chubby!) I've come to accept that it is going to take me a long time to lose the weight because I don't really have a whole lot to lose plus my body is so used to being active. Actually I've seen no weight change in 3 weeks! But I have lost about 2 inches so somethings working  Just keep moving and do whatever fits into your schedule! Anything is better than nothing!

    Good Luck!
