I have a friend who was lactose intolerant had a small soy latte at starbucks most mornings (4-5 times a wk) for about 8 months then mentioned her cycle had gone very light. I had lived in Japan (high soy diet and lots women with fertility issues) and asked if she ate a lot of soy for some reason. She immediately stopped…

I recently fried the crap out of my hair and thus embarked on a major mission the improve/maintain what is left! There are several different kinds of professional thickening/repair shampoos. I can tell you what I think works best if you let me know a price range (it can really vary). I also have done some at home mixtures…

My theory (for myself) is if you have to question it, don't wear it. I'm not offended by what other employees wear. I figure what they choose to wear reflects upon them, not me.

Get checked out right away. If it is something to worry about, it is best to catch it early! I will tell you that my experience with lumpy breasts. I had two non cancerous lumps removed and continue to have other small ones that are more prominent with hormone fluctuations. My mother and sister also have "lumpy breasts"…

Just push through it!!! Try to do fun workouts that help you forget you are even working out. I've lived in the southwest (DRY desert) most of my life, but went on exchange to Puerto Rico for a year where is was 95/97/100 percent humidity most of the year!!! I thought I was gonna pass out when I first started dancing with…

Even though I'm not even half way to my goal of getting back to my healthy weight, I feels so great that my old clothes are starting to fit. It's so nice to go into a dressing room, and feel that several (yes, several-yippie) things I try on look, and most importantly, feel good on! Those days seemed so far away just a…

You even look more energetic!! Congrats:)

Don't stress missy! I firmly believe that it's what you eat/do in a week, not in a day and so far that has produced results for me! Don't be so had on yourself girly:)

Nice words of wisdom! May your journey continue to be a successful one! Congrats:)

I'd recommend just moving up when you feel it suits you! When I'm feeling ambitious I do 2 levels back to back!

I've only been here about 3 weeks myself, but in that short time I've been on a mission to figure things out! I can tell you that most of the time it's a simple matter of calories in and calories out. You may be eating your exercise calories ie. calorie "deficit". Remember that thing where you first signed up and it asked…

I think if you strict with yourself and stay on track you can do it! I'd recommend lots of water, high fiber to keep things moving, and exercise every moment you can squeeze it in (I'd say at least 5 days a week if you are shooting for 2 lbs per week)! NO CHEATING since its a challenging time frame lol:) Good luck!

I'd log that as circuit training. I do Jillian's shred and it incorporates similar exercise and log it as circuit training. From what I've seen, I think that's what other users log it as well. Good luck!

Maybe you could try to log it as skate boarding?

Ha haa, I just remembered this! I was once watching some bad reality tv and this guy takes a couple bites of his cupcake then suddenly grabs the windex, and sprays whats left of it!!! When the rest of the room looked at him like he was a lunatic, he says, "WHAT? It's the only way I can get myself to stop eating it...here…

Hee hee, I fall off the wagon sometimes too...scratch that, I DIVE off head first sometimes! I do weird quirky little things to try to resist. I sometimes imagine the donut or whatever else directly attaching itself to my *kitten* lol. When I let myself get too ravenous (like eat my are hungry) I make sure that I stay very…

I have big hips and a small waist. I just started, but I can tell you what it took me to move up a pant size. Over the course of a year I gained 20 lbs, eek! It took me the last 3 pounds of that to admit that I needed to move up a pant size. Oh and as a side note, I'm a Mexican border girl and I can tell you that those…

Hi! I can't say that I suffer from any kind of medical mood disorders, but I can say that I commend you for your efforts despite them! Man, I can't imagine. I do know that restricting my food sends me into all kinds of crazy mood swings! I'm new at all of this so, while getting accustomed and informed, I'm pretty sure I've…

Yeah Britt, I use whole wheat flour now and although it changes the texture, it's still yummy (doesn't reduces the calories too much..better type of cals though?) ! Ohh, you know that baked apples thing I made and brought to work one day was made with wheat flour and flaxseed. Ooh and for me, it does wonders for your…

Ok, you totally just sold me on drinking more water especially, since (confession) I love salty food and probably have too much of it. I had started to do so, but stopped when my work as a receptionist (aka can't answer the phone if you're on the pot when it rings lol) and a masters student writing my thesis (aka in front…
