Good Luck to you! I very recently made the same decision. I've been on here since February, made some initial progress, and then gained it all back. Last week I decided to start taking it seriously again, so I'm back on MFP. It really is a great site. Way to get back into it!

That is not an unrealistic goal! You can change you're lifestyle in the course of a year, and hit the goals you have for yourself. We're all here to support you. Best of luck to you, and way to set some solid goals.

Right on girl. Such a good outlook. That's my new goal for looking at this whole process. One day at a time makes it all less overwhelming and easier to not get discouraged. Good luck today!

Think about how much CLOSER you are than you were! You want to lose 50 lbs, and you're more than halfway there. That is an amazing accomplishment. You will get there. Keep up the GREAT work, and take out some of that disappointment at the gym!

I feel your pain! I love me some red wine, and while I am still losing weight.....I think it's going slower because of it. Not sure there is a good solution here. I suspect all the super healthy folks will just say drink less wine :) But I'd love to hear it if anyone has good suggestions!
