Maybe you are a compulsive eater like me?
-
Resisting goodies.

It doesn't look like your diary is open?

Thank you for posting your story. I, too, got sloppy. Good way of putting it, by the way. I did so well before, and now I have 15 pounds to take off all over again. I'm not happy about it, but I am trying to get back on track.
-
I agree with you.
-
Hot flashes and back pain driving me crazy here!
-
Also trying to get back on track here. Gained 15 back.
-
Depending on your situation, it may never go away except with surgery.
-
What do you mean by "hungry"? If you are actually physically hungry, then go ahead and eat!

Haven't been on here for a while. Still dealing with the flashes. It's the worst at night. Last night was really bad. I've been using progesterone cream since finding out that my progesterone level was non-existent. Not sure it's doing anything. I have at times taken gabapentin for them, but can't decide if it helps or not.

Lotions do not actually help.

I'm a pretty small woman, and I lost most of my weight eating 2,000. And probably not exercising as much as you do.
-
Bad idea. Try Overeater's Anonymous.
-
Well, I can do one or two.......
-
Well, if they continue to be bad with no relief, I will probably be doing that.
-
Yay!!! Thank you so much for your comments! I have seen several of them, and felt that they were qualified to do what they were doing.
-
Still getting them at least 8 times during the night. I do get them during the day, but not as bad as at night. I long to sleep through the night..........
-
I'm sorry, but I don't think I can handle that right now. I need baby steps.
-
Are you diabetic? Me me, I can't imagine not eating more carbs than that. Good carbs, that is.

I forgot to answer your question about whether I'm trying to lose weight. I only need to lose about 9 pounds that I have put back on. Hopefully that will happen with eating less sugar. I actually lost most of my weight eating 2000 calories. And exercising most every day - about 9 hours per week.

I like them, but just recently decided to stop buying them and eat more real food that doesn't have the artificial sweeteners. Some of them do have an aftertaste.

Thank you for the suggestions. I have made up my mind to cut down on the sweets. For starters, and this is big for me, I am going to try to eat very little candy, cookies, etc. I will try to have no more than a couple of hundred calories of those types of things in a day.

Thank you. I'm wondering if I didn't see that once. Is it new?

Believe it or not the NP that I am seeing has genuine medical training from a real school and everything. The practice that she is in with a doctor has just a little different approach. They are into prevention rather than just handing someone a pill, if possible. I happen to like that idea. I do not plan to give up entire…

Well, I have been working on that for a very long time, but in the meantime I've been killing myself with food. The issues may never be resolved, so the food has to be.
-
You are right, of course. Back in 2013 I was ready, and I did well. I stayed within my calorie limits and I exercised most every day. I was still eating too much junk, however. Recently a lot of things have been going on in my life that I have used food to try to cope with. A very old pattern for me. I have kept up with…

Oh, I've continued to log my treats all along. I figure if I'm going to eat it, I'm going to log it.

First of all, she is not telling me to modify my diet due to my thyroid issue. Secondly, yes, I really would have to go 125 miles to get to an Endo. Not even sure there is one that close. I live in the U.P. of Michigan. 400 miles from a major airport.
