In my original post I said as an adult I am taking charge. I am now aware of my habits and taking control, I no longer "blame" them but I do wish they had raised me differently regarding portion sizes.

If you are a teen and already have a healthy weight you shouldn't be trying to loose weight. Your body is still growing and developing and you can cause damage if you are not feeding your body. Your weight is already very low.

Personally I would put 5 times a week. Maybe even 4 depending on how intense they are.

Your body weight is already very low, you don't need to loose more weight. If you want to get a tighter stomach and look more toned you have to eat more protein and start lifting and doing a lot of strength training. How many calories per day are you eating now?

Are you seriously only eating 900-1000 calories a day or just guessing. And if you're doing 3-4 hours of cardio you are burning well over 1,000 calories. I'm 4' 11".. loosing 6lbs/month on 1200-1340 ... 1200 was too little.. 1300 is definitely more sustainable for me :)

Yay! I'm so excited! I have 3lbs. weights and I am 4' 11" aiming for 1340 calories a day. I've never been able to stick with any program but since this one is only 30 days I think I can finish it! :D

Hmmm.. I love mexican food and I am mexican myself..lol. but I love guacamole.. avocado has a lot of healthy fats and if you add onions and tomatoes you eat some veggies. 1200 is really not sustainable. I'm 4' 11" and I felt hungry so I used my TDEE number and it gave me 1340. SO I just stick to 1300-1400 a day and I've been loosing slowly but I know I can do this for a longer and I don't feel deprived.. if you loose weight *too* fast in a non sustainable manner you will gain it back! :D…

Yes.! Even if you're not loosing for a week or so.. stick with it! You will see results but you just gotta be patient! :D

I agree with everyone. Stick to 1500-1600 calories a day. I definitely think you are eating too little! Your BMR is 1483.. that's just how many calories your body needs if you were in bed all day just to survive. I would use the iifym calc.. i found it to be more accurate than scooby.. by inputting your stats for 15% fat loss and working out 3X at 5' 5" at 156 lbs your suggested is 1718 calories/day... MFP calculator is innacurate and it does not take into account exercise. It really is a myth that you have to eat 5-6 meals a day for weight loss. As long as you meet your calories deficit you will loose the pounds. Stick to what you like.
