Oh! You mentioned tuna packets in your original post, so I had no idea. Definitely go the cooler route, then. Though, most of the things I recommended would be just fine either way!

There are SO many options for this. Think about it: what do students bring for lunch to school? Brown bag lunches with simple, economical, and healthy things. When I was in high school and even now during college where I use a bento box to bring my lunch -- unrefrigerated -- I take hummus, black beans, cut cucumbers and…

5-hour energy, unfortunately. I got a bunch free from some campus rep (it's finals, what can I say).

Tonight after yoga I will likely be having quinoa with tomato chutney, and a seaweed cucumber salad. Excited!

Not sure who this is targeted at, but it is not entirely logical to shame or put down someone's opinion on the basis of his or her weight loss -- or post count, lol -- alone.

I 100% agree. Snark = passive aggression. An aside: I feel like passive aggression is especially geographically regional in real life, and on myfitnesspal, regional in the sense of people's goals. I.E., the bodybuilders who must count every single number perfectly are more likely to be passive aggressive than people like…

I get it, OP. I agree. I've only posted minimally in the forums for this exact reason. People tell me that if I get upset, it's my own fault, that I should leave or "turn off your computer/phone" if you don't want to hear what others have to say. For example, I once posted, mildly complaining, about how identical both the…

Oatmeal with vanilla sauce, coconut, and pineapple. Tastes a lot like sticky rice with mango...but with pineapple. Brown rice, cooked spinach, tuna, and snow peas. Herbed tofu, mushrooms, blue cheese, pesto, and pepitas.

Oatmeal with caramel and vanilla sauces, coconut, blueberries, and banana. Peppers, mushrooms, romaine, cucumbers with lentils, chicken salad, and pepitas. The most delicious thing ever: cucumbers and mushrooms covered in a lot of pesto, a lot of gorgonzola, and a lot of parmesan, topped with sunflower seeds.

basically.

I'm about 5'8.5" and have been as high as 155 and low as 119. I'm 134.5 right now, and hoping to get into the low 120s.

I just want to feel comfortable at the beach. I've never been so my whole life. Also, every once in a while I find a great pair of jeans or skirt that I just don't quite fit. Last month, I bought a 1980s size 6 pair of high-waisted jeans, and today I finally fit into it!!! My weight losses have been small numbers, and so…

According to what will be available at my college's dining hall tonight, I'm planning on kielbasa with green peppers and onions, steamed broccoli, and one piece of falafel!

Oooh, idea? Try it with cookie butter or almond butter instead. I'm not into peanut butter, and why not let it actually taste like real cookies? (If you're gluten-free, you can essentially make cookie butter by mixing almond butter + coconut butter/oil and adding brown sugar and vanilla!!)
-
That looks wonderful. I'm going to try it. ...and pin it.

I need more seafood in my life. And garlic. And broccoli.

Make ALL pasta dishes with spaghetti squash to eat more...or even zucchini noodles for that matter. Try coating that squash or zucchini in marinara and some meat, and we'll see who's the wiser.

What made you motivated to diet in the first place? Consider that. Write it down! Write everything down. And maybe by the time you're done writing, your impulse to eat will have gone away ;)

Sweet potato is SO GOOD with cinnamon and butter. I might need to do that soon.

Ugh, the patriarchy. I get it. I also get not wanting to be "that girl" anything. I'm so sorry. :(

For a typical person, 100g is probably the most you'd want without experiencing bad bloating or weight gain. Atkins starts at 20g to get you into ketosis, which is almost painfully low. If you want a more attainable low, just keep it under 50, but aim for closer to 30g. That's worked best for me! And get those carbs not…

Working on my BA in Film Studies and Business. Possibly minoring in French, too :)

Just one food? Probably Nutella, as embarrassing as that is. It should totally be 1 calorie and 1 carb per tablespoon, instead of 100 calories and 11g carbs.
