Thank you for all the awesome suggestions! :) I'm going to try them tonight with olive oil, balsamic, and onion.

It helped me to take pictures of myself in my bra. You don't have to share them (I didn't) but I could definitely see a change that way. And I agree that the fit of your clothing is a really great way to gauge your success!

Best Buy has them.

My fiance, who works at Best Buy, told me about them a while ago. I was a little skeptical, then I saw them advertised here on MFP. After reading these reviews, I might get one... plus there's always the perks of getting a discount because of that whole "I'm marrying an employee" thing lol.

Look up some recipes for healthier sweet treats and have them around for when you have cravings. Plan out your meals ahead of time and don't stray from them! I find it's easier for me to stick to a plan than to try and make healthy decisions on a whim all day long (of course, I do break down and have a sweet every once in…

My goals for the week are: - to burn at least 360 calories each work out - get serious about weight training so I can build lean muscle and lose more fat! - cut down on my sodium - I did pretty well with this last week, so I am going to be even more conscious this week

I would LOVE to be a part of this group! I love the pin-up and rockabilly culture. Count me in!

You can definitely see your success in your photos! Keep it up and yay for new clothes!

No. We're about the same height, but I think he has a few pounds on me. However, he loses weight easier and quicker than I do, so he could easily weigh less than I do.

Saving this - I love a Big Mac every once in a while, and knowing what's going into it will make it taste even better. :)

Not having a good week this week, Gryffindors! Not consistently logging -- mostly dinner. I have a great lunch and breakfast... then I have to hurry home from work, shovel whatever I can in my mouth, and go off to rehearsal. Our show is this coming weekend, so I imagine this week is going to be INSANE. Then it's back to…

I'm down to 164.4 -- that's not only 1.2 pounds down from last week, BUT it's my halfway point! 20 lbs. down, 20 more to go until the top end of my goal range! I also managed to burn 2257 calories, thanks to choreography nights for the musical I'm in. I love the strength training challenge idea too because I HATE doing it…

My friend is now a certified Zumba instructor so I hope to take some classes with her! Haven't tried it before.

I just have to tell you how much I appreciate this group and I am SO happy to be a part of it. It's really jump (re-)started my weight loss and lifestyle changes. Just knowing there are others on here to support me and hold me accountable is really helpful. Plus I wanna be Head Girl, so I'm sure gonna try! :P Anyway, I'm…

That happened to my mom when she had surgery on her stomach/esophagus. She could only eat certain things, and she would feel really hungry -- then take a couple of bites and feel sick. She lost quite a bit of weight, but has since gained some back. I didn't like to see that, but I knew she wasn't doing it intentionally and…

Try changing your pounds lost per week/increase your calorie intake. By eating more often (healthy stuff, of course) you may be able to boost your metabolism. Also, confuse your body with your exercise -- that's how P90X works! My body got used to my workouts because I did the same thing every day. :(

I agree with the above post -- pack a little cooler with water and some healthy snacks, or if you can't have a cooler, grab some granola bars or whole wheat crackers and the like. If you graze throughout the day on healthy things, then share your fair food with someone, you won't be starving but you'll still get to have…

I can see the difference in your face and middle area especially! Keep up the great work! (Also, I LOVE your hair in that second picture.)

I'm a D and I've lost just under 20 pounds with no noticeable loss in cup size. I've always had larger breasts, even when I was an in-shape athlete, so I don't hold out much hope for any changes in mine. As for exercises, there is no way to target where we lose weight. Our body will take it off as it sees fit. :)

As Tonks would say, wotcher Gryffindors! My weight last week was 166.8. My weight this morning is 165.6 -- 1.2 pounds lost for the week! I'm still a half pound heavier than I was when I stopped consistently logging and exercising in May (I was finishing grad school and job hunting, which really made me not give a crap…

I always have a craving for chocolate in the afternoon at work, so I've been eating the chocolate ones. So good and perfect for that little bit of sweetness!

According to their site, they don't have full nutritional information on their entire menu. But I know some areas (like the Capital Region of NY, where I live) are required by law to list the calorie content of menu items, so you might luck out depending where you go. Otherwise, I'd stick to things like whole grain, fruit,…

I know I won't reach the first challenge goal, but I'm not letting that stop me from trying! :P

Have fun! We went last June the week they opened and it was insanity but AMAZING. Staying at the park had it's perks -- we got to go in a whole hour before the park opened to the public. People were waiting HOURS just to get into that part. I'm sure it's calmed down since then... I want to go back in the fall sometime!…

We're doing a revue called "Broadway Our Way" (we wanted "B****in' Broadway" but there are kids in the show, lol). In the past we've done Cabaret, City of Angels, Titanic, Aida, and the Sound of Music.

Girl I got you! I know you said things were a little crazy at the moment so I thought I'd help by answering the only question I could lol.
