Great thread idea. My go-to is greek yogurt+oats+berries+whey+cinnamon. You can really adjust the macros however you want. If I need fat I use the 2%yogurt.

Whey protein is as much a food source as it is a supplement. It doesn't "work" per say. Look at the label, those are the Macros you are getting from it. No magic.

Awesome to see more females who take lifting seriously! Im a 26 year old Male martial artist, but I supplement with more lifting than most.

Totally normal. Weigh yourself first thing in the morning (I like to try and pee first lol) and only compare it to other weigh ins at the same time. Even this will fluctuate slightly so dont stress out if you a couple lbs heavier than you were yesterday. I try to weigh in only once or twice a week for this reason.

It totally depends on the starting point. It took me 8 weeks to lose my first 30lbs but I started very heavy after gaining a lot of weight in a short amount of time. These are all so awesome to read! I just had a birthday yeterday. With a day of intermittent fasting, and working my but off at the gym I was able to go out for a big steak supper with desert and still had a 500 calorie deficit for the day. I don't think its possible, but I have never looked into it extensively. Why is it that you are concerned with water retention? Its just water, not fat or toxins. Unless you have a weight class to shoot for I don't see the issue of carrying a couple extra lbs of water.
