grocery list, add your must haves!

I am looking for new ideas for healthy foods as I know we all are always doing. So I thought we could start a "grocery list" of sorts and share our ideas and favorites foods. Name three or more things YOU always put on your list and could not live without. :)

I have a green smoothie every day so my list always has the things for this-kale, spinach, fruit and chia seeds when I run out

I usually have a large, dinner plate size salad every day and always have on hand veggies, mushrooms, refried black beans, black olives and other toppings.

And then oats and the add ins to mix in-almonds, raisins, ground flax seed, other seeds (sunflower etc), and other stuff (pumpkin etc)

I would say there isn't really many/any individual foods I buy all the time, but some of the ones I use the most are:

    - apples (I love these for taking to school as snacks during class)
    - mixed nuts with no peanuts (I try not to eat legumes, but I like the mixes because I get some variety. I also discover new nuts - I'd never had Brazil nuts, pecans, hazelnuts or cashews before trying these!)
    - spicy thai chili flavoured tuna (I mix it with regular tuna to add some flavor - delicious!)
    - boneless skinless chicken breasts (buy the boneless for convenience, and skinless out of habit; my mother hates skin and I find I don't like the taste of it now because I never had it as a kid)
    - olive oil
    - butter
    - romaine hearts, real bacon bits, and Renee's Cesar dressing (the one thing I have a hard time giving up is my Renee's dressing; I don't like natural salad dressings like balsamic vinegar and olive oil so I figure in the long run it's better to eat salad and have some dressing than to just avoid salads forever lol)

    Chocolate milk
    Arborio rice
Chicken thighs and/or extra lean ground beef
    Tuna
    Box of pasta
Granola (from a local bakery, not the generic stuff (which I also like))
Eggs (actually these are from the neighbour...)
    Loaf of dark "rustic" bread
    Semi-stinky cheese
    Bananas
    Oranges
    Frozen mixed vegetables

    That's basically my week....

    Eggs,
    Peanut Butter
    Brocollini - lots of it!
    Chicken tenderloins for easy dinners/lunches
Bags of salad mix/rocket/spinach (also for easy lunches/dinners)
Microwavable brown rice (in the pouches)
    Chilli, Garlic Salt, Tuscan Seasoning
    Lean mince meat

These are my things to have when I just CBF cooking. Tenderloins take all of 10 minutes to cook, just some microwavable rice or brocollini on the plate and some salad/spinach/rocket and you have yourself a delicious meal!
