  • I am going to contact his doctor (we have the same physcian) and see what we need to do.
  • I am going to have him go back and talk with his physcian. I need to get him to calm down.
  • The DOT physician offered no help at all. They originally told him that his regular level needed to be under 200 which it is at 162. Of course he knows that needs to get to 100 but he has made great progress there. Just not sure how to deal with the A1C. They only told him about that number when he got there today to try…

  • I agree with the suggestion of not doing it too often. I stay away from the drinks with syrup base. I stick with the juice base. White liquor instead of brown and wine is difficult for me because I tend to like the sweeter wine which I am sure has more sugar in it.
  • Welcome and Hello ... Good work. Keep it up.

  • Hello ... I have no idea where Meyersdale is but it doesn't matter. The infomation age has us all in such close proximity that we still function. LOL. Welcome.
  • It is just like the freshman 15 that you gain in college. A desk job is very difficult if you don't take the time to get up and walk. We feel like if we leave our desk we are going to miss something. Every hour or so I get up and stretch and take a walk. Since the weather is about to break, I take a brisk walk around our…

  • I am having the same issue. I am taking meds for my thyroid. If I don't take it, I am severely sluggish. My weight fluctuates and I have to work even harder to keep it in check. You may want to speak with your doctor to see if there is anything that you could do that would assist in your not gaining weight. If you diet and…

  • My high school body was 23 years ago, I don't want that one back. I like my grown woman body. I just want my curves to be curvalicious. It is a lifestyle adjustment, one week in you are going to se some results if you have gotten rid of the sodas and replaced it with water. But they proper eating and exercise are going to…

  • I use the quaker oats from the big container, I cook mine in the microwave for one minute. Stir and then for another 30-45 depending on how much water I put in. Comes out perfect.
  • I put non-dairy creamer (did that by accident thinking I was using sugar), a handful of dried cherries, dried cranberries, almonds, walnuts and pecans, and a tablespoon of brown sugar. No butter, no milk
  • I have learned that as well. And it feels good knowing you can get support when you need it the most.
  • I learned that I stress too much about not eating too much and I am not eating enough. I learned that water isn't as bad and it seems sometimes. I learned that the more I take care of my body, the better I feel.
