Wow!! Congratulations!! You are making fantastic progress B)

I usually log out at the top right corner of any page on my computer screen/tablet or I click on the three parrallel lines in the top corner (menu) and find "log out". Hope that helps!

Congratulations on your great progress!! And I hear you about kickboxing... I used to call it my "definition sport" because it works all the hard-to-train areas we women aspire to tone, as well as providing self-defense, self-confidence and a terrific way to vent frustrations  Woohoo!!

I didn't do anything... I just logged back on (as usual) and the issue was resolved two days after flagging it :o Perhaps is it necessary to log out on a daily basis? Hopefully this issue will quickly be resolved for you also! :)

The problem has finally disappeared; I hope it has for you also, minstrelofsarcasm (love your name btw!)

I have been doing the "30-day Plank Challenge" to strengthen my core (biggest weak spot!) and last night in kick boxing class, when working abs between series (pretending you are sitting in a lounge chair while sitting on the floor, your feet above ground), I was surprised how much easier it was to stay in that position…

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing transformation! And I'm thrilled for you that your husband decided to improve his health and lifestyle too! Your children are very fortunate to have such positive role models :) Your story is an obvious reminder that I should re-incorporate weight lifting to my weekly routine (I…

I have a question: I've heard that when you work out first thing in the morning (light cardio warm-up then moderate weight routine), it's better to work out on an empty stomach to tap into your fat reserves. What is your opinion? Also, do you have your max carb meal prior to your weightlifting or does it really matter?

This thread is amazing! You have enlightened me on many issues and helped me understand what went on during my previous efforts to get in shape (ie: before having baby #6): why it worked so well and what I need to change this time around. I will definitely pull out my dumbbells again to complement my current kick boxing…

Your story reminds me of this amazing picture: I applaud you for using the hardships as a platform for success!

"Trust me, it is so worth every sacrifice you make to get healthy. It may be 80% diet, and 20% exercise, but it’s 100% mental. I would wish you all good luck in your journey, but luck has nothing to do with it. You need strength, and with that, stay strong and never give up." You are absolutely correct. And amazing!! Thank…

*jaw drops* You, sir, are absolutely amazing!! And, most importantly, proof that it can realistically be done without taking extreme measures! Congratulations!!:drinker:

When I consulted a specialist in athlete nutrition and exercise, I followed his recommendations quite strickly and obtained quick results (even he was thrilled!)... but it freaked out my Mom - hehe! I had to explain over and over again that the idea was to "strip away the old" before bulking up... with muscle and that I…

I have a Polar FT4 and absolutely love it!! It is perfect for my needs (I don't need a GPS; I do kick boxing and an at-home weight lifting program) and is extremely simple to use (even I figured it out! ). Happy training!:drinker:

LOL!! My hubby begs me to tag along to help him pick out clothes and willingly tries on anything I pick out - as long as it doesn't take too long

This: Congratulations!!

I agree: either find an interesting alternative or enjoy less of it :glasses: My trick is to eat some edamame beans on the side... that way I get more protein and healthy fats and less sodium and grease. Hope that helps!

Congratulations!! :drinker: I'm a mom of 5 who decided that enough was enough and put myself on a mission: fit and fabulous by 40 (this fall)... :glasses: Believe me: you can do it!! I love your attitude!:flowerforyou:

ROFL!!!

I agree: shakes are very useful - especially as an evening snack when you don't want carbs! Have you heard of hemp hearts? They are shelled hemp seeds, about the size of sesame seeds with a slight nutty flavor. For 3 tbsp, you get 170 calories, 10 g protein, 3 g carbs, 3 g fiber and omegas! You can sprinkle them on almost…

"Craisins"!! I allow them to swell for several minutes while the oatmeal cools... that was the flavour transfers to the oatmeal too... sooo delicious!!

Congratulations on turning your life around!! You have done amazingly well! :flowerforyou:

Indeed!! What an incredible transformation! Congratulations!:drinker: :glasses:

I was afraid of looking like a female Hulk LOL My personal experience is this: lifting without cardio made me look bulky because I wasn't eating right and held on to the intra-muscular fat; then I finally changed my eating habits, did some cardio, lost the weight and began lifting heavy... What a difference!! I too weight…
