I have a confession :s I once came home from the gym, feeling good rocking my brand new yoga pants, cooking dinner for my friend & I... I bent over & she goes "I seriously hope you didn't wear those to the gym" I'm so sorry for those poor souls who witnessed my pale asset. :'(

I don't count anything with caffeine as water. However, I do count my Polar seltzer as water

26 5'4 SW: 206+ (not exact since I developed scale fear & wouldn't weigh myself until I started losing) CW: 182 GW: 145

Totally disagree with the Fleetwood Mac suggestion, I've been listening to The Chain on repeat for days. Agree with Beyonce. Bon Jovi. Aerosmith.

is that a joke? I would laugh so hard if someone told me that, because of my tats, they needed me to get a hep c blood test before they would consider dating me. All my tats are by the same artist who works at a very clean shop. Worth noting also, hep c isn't spread by saliva soooo :|

.5 lb away from 20 lbs lost, I'd like to lose 40 more & then see how I feel :) :)

Bonnie raitt, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Tom Petty, the black crowes, Stevie Ray Vaughan, jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton... Also, I'm obsessed with Ryn Weaver lately. & Eric Church. Mumford & sons

I wasn't aware there was a FIRST reason why tattoos are a bad idea... My back is covered in them

I ask myself this every month, & then I experience the "whoosh" & don't think about it again for another month :D

I am from MA... huge Patriots fan, love Tom Brady. That said, I go cross-eyed with his pretentiousness sometimes. He's married to a supermodel, has a 2 yr contract valued at 41mil, has access to the best doctors & trainers, & probably has a chef cooking up the recipes in his over-priced cookbook.... He might as well have…

Someone on Instagram kept pushing TSFL & put up a post about how her medifast bar kept her from hitting the drive thru.... you can store any protein or granola bar in your car, gym bag, purse & have the same result. The "coaches" of these programs are trained to recruit individuals & make money doing so. Some of the…

First thing after my morning tinkle :D I like to recognize fluctuations, I'm not wrapped up in the need to lose every day though... You need to do what's right for you

I have the Charge HR, so I'll just give you the pros & cons. Heart rate, imo, is the most useful function... Regardless of the accuracy of steps/floors; I use HR to gauge whether I am pushing myself enough during workouts. I haven't found a way to make the step counter more accurate... I was on one of those elliptical…

I'm always looking for new buddies :)

What do you mean a "visual" change? As in, looking in the mirror? Or the scale? I would keep at it, It's been about 8 weeks for me & I am just now starting to see the change in my face & collar bone, but still not elsewhere (others are pointing it out now, too). Just remember, it's not a race to get there... Don't get…

That's what I would do too. Set to the weight that "feels" right &, as it nears, you can always readjust. Right now my goal is only in 10 lb increments. I started at 206, made it to 196... Goal made! Made it to 186... Goal made! I don't want to focus too much on the end goal because I find it discouraging, you have to do…

If i knew exactly what my boobs weighed, I wouldn't count them :D Just kidding! I actually consider anything that's "part of me," to be part of my weight. Of course you can take comfort in the fact that you know how the implants affect your weight... But why continuously do the math?

My dad says the same thing when I tell him I've eaten bacon "Kaitlin! That's so high in fat! You won't lose weight if you eat too much fat." K dad. I just say "thanks for the advice!" It's hard to be rude in those situations because the advice is well-meaning & sometimes it's hard not to second guess yourself, but just…

Mine does that too!!! I'm not sure if it has to do with heart rate, but it'll add 1-3k when I'm at 10-15k steps. I just disregard it... If I got in a killer workout I might eat back 50-150, but that's about it

I'm in the same boat, because I cook dinner for my SO each evening & he refuses to eat healthy. Yesterday for dinner I made Kevin & Amanda's taco cups.. Let me know if you want the link.. Wonton wrappers, lean beef, a can of tomatoes & chilis, light shredded cheese is all it takes (sour cream for serving is optional)…

Absolutely not.

I went out last weekend, everyone was ordering beer & burgers & I got a shrimp Caesar salad, dressing on the side/hold the croutons and drank water. I was picked on, but completely satisfied with my meal. I love Caesar salad though, if I was "settling" it may have been a different story. Plan ahead... Get comfortable…

Grokker on demand (xfinity) has an x5 intensity bodyweight workout that I've been doing... Love it. I also walk all the time with my pup, 3-5 miles daily.

It's the easiest way to confirm nutritional info since measuring cups & other tools aren't foolproof... So, everything. I weigh any flour, breadcrumbs, sugars, even packaged food to confirm the calories. I generally weigh everything but fruit & veggies because I'm not as concerned about the calories from those at the…

Digital scale, as everyone has already mentioned :D I also love mason jars for storing leftovers in individual portions to last the week. The glass keeps the food fresher so I'm not as turned off by leftovers as I had been previously, but that's just me. I also have a ninja food processor/blender that I got at Walmart for…

Journaling, therapy, exercise, napping, watching an old favorite movie, reading... Those are all things that I turn to. If I have a craving for something unhealthy, I won't deprive myself... I'll usually just either search for a portioned recipe: cookie for one, one cupcake - they exist!! or a healthier substitution...…
