  • You look awesome!! I am two weeks post partum and I cant wait to jump back on the workout train for results like yours ... you are an inspiration!
  • I am two weeks PP, if my bladder is really full I can run to the toilet and it starts coming before I even sit down. I am 26 with a 3.5yo and a 2 week old. I am able to hold it with sneezes and laughs and coughs and such. Before baby #2, I still leaked a little *tiny* bit with the more forceful sneezes or jumping on the…
  • Empire waist dresses!! Short and long.
  • Put some Benefiber in your water. Or sprinkle some on your food. It's basically the same stuff as Sensa and it will keep you feeling fuller longer. Drink more (regular) water too. I know I was constipated the first trimester. Increased fiber and water help keep things regular. Good luck, mama.

  • I'm due in 10 days. I'm getting swept on 7/3 (puts me at 39+1 on that day). Perhaps a July 4 or 5 baby if it works! I am feeling heavy duty. I am eating like a monster and I shut my eyes to the scale. I am still logging my food. I'm finally using my pregnancy as an excuse to stuff my face.
  • July mommies - WE ARE SOOOO CLOSE! How is everyone doing, if you haven't had your baby yet?? OR if you HAVE!
  • With #1 - 18 weeks (severe) With #2 - 12 weeks (mild)
  • Pre-pregnancy: 190lbs (5'5" - Obese BMI) 37 weeks: 205 Goal: 15 lbs (with doctor agreeing) Looks like I will be closer to a 18-20 lbs by delivery. I think most of it will be water weight, my ankles and feet are so much puffier than they were 2 to 3 weeks ago. I ate very reasonably and exercised almost every day until the…
  • I started 190 and 5'5" (31 BMI - obese). I am now 36 weeks pregnant at 203 lbs. I have gained 13 lbs so far through diet and exercise. I eat approximately 1800 calories/day on most days (sometimes more, sometimes less). I exercised about 5-7 days/week until the last 2-ish weeks (I am full of excuses to NOT do it). I wear a…
  • I have been telling my 3.5yo that Mommy won't be home for a couple days but she will come see me several times at the hospital. She is staying with the G-units which is her "second home" and she is already comfortable spending the night.
  • 35 weeeeks! I only need one hand to count the weeks! :) :) I have a rash on my booty and back of my thighs. Hormones.
  • Ugh, I ate pineapple and I could feel that reflux the second it hit my stomach. It has been worse the past week or two (34W).

  • My blood sugar was in the toilet this afternoon. I don't have GD or hypoglycemia. I haaaate that feeling. :(
  • Congratulations and welcome! This board seems to be food and exercise focused. These women are wayyy more supportive than "OTHER" websites. coughbbccough
  • For healthy weight women - approximately 2200-2500 is a target goal. I think my macros are set to 40/35/25 C/F/P - I have a very hard time hitting those numbers (especially protein). The 50/30/20 ratio is classic and recommended by the government...
  • A call to the triage nurse should answer your question. I have seen some women drink it. If you start, let me know if you have any positive results!! I am beginning to see some increased water retention. My feet and ankles have a little swelling.
  • I have wayyyy less motivation to exercise but I still get my butt up to do it. It went from 5-7 x/week down to 4-6 x/week just during this pregnancy. I actually increased my activity level during pregnancy.
  • My feet are starting to swell :frown: With baby #1 - My feet were water balloons at this point (32 weeks). So I'm in a better position than I was last time around but I still wish they wouldn't. I can get away with sandals for a little while longer.
  • Baby #1 - 5 days early
  • No experience in this area but just wanted to send positive labor vibes your way! :)
  • How are you ladies feeling? I am eating less lately... getting up is harder and harder as the weeks pass... Baby kicks me in strange places. I feel pretty good for the most part.

  • I do it all at once. 30-60 minutes of walking, yoga, or DVD. Sometimes I add a 10 minute evening walk after dinner (maybe 3x/week).
  • Feel free to add me. I am on day 74 today.
  • Porterhouse... you get sirloin and tenderloin in one cut! It's a little higher in price... but gawd... Delicious when cooked medium rare. Crap. We're not supposed to eat med-rare  . A little EVOO, S&P, Garlic powder, and a little flame... :brokenheart:
  • YOGA! Especially after all the standing/lunging poses... warrior, squats, right angle, etc.
  • I take a protein shake several times a week. I make them with milk, banana, PB, and cocoa. It ends up being approx 30g per shake. I have a hard time meeting my protein macros too. I always meet my fat intake... ETA: I have been using Now Unflavored Whey
  • Dude, have you tried banana-only ice cream??? It is so good...
  • This is not just a pregnancy issue for me. Thus is an adulthood problem!!!
