Oh, don't I know it! That's why it's taken me 15 months to lose 55.4 pounds! I'm pretty sure I should have lost my goal of 84 pounds by now if I didn't insist on having at least one cheat day per week. :)

I'm not sure about others, but in my case it's the net calories I have trouble getting to 1200 on. I exercise a couple hours a day (walking and biking) and usually burn at least 400 calories, so I have no problem eating 1200 plus the exercise calories, but I usually try to leave between 100-200 exercise calories "on the…

I'm just asking, because it seems very difficult for me to eat a net of 1200 a day. Well, not difficult. I could definitely eat that much per day. It's just that I keep an eye on trying to eat at 1200 plus exercise calories, but I always seem to net much lower than 1200.

Quit having my weekly "eat all you can eat and drink all you can drink" day. But then again, maybe I wouldn't be as consistent at losing if I didn't have at least that one day (sometimes two) to look forward to! :)

It is indeed calories in/calories out. However, tonight I had a choice to eat my usual banana/Greek yogurt/peanut butter snack for 217 calories or a Klondike Reese's Ice Cream sandwich for 250. My water weight usually lasts at least five days. I hate this, as I retain water at the drop of a hat. Just looking at something salty seems to add pounds on me. :(

I burn less than 500 calories walking six miles at 3mph. But I'm only 5'1", 53 years old, and weigh 148.7. I'd say eat back half of the exercise calories and see if you lose too fast or stay the same or gain, then readjust from there.

I gained 4.4 pounds over Memorial Day weekend. :( But I'm right back on track again. I'm hoping next week's weigh-in will be 4.4 DOWN and that it's all water weight. I'm sure yours is the same. Just don't give up and do what you know has been working for you for the two weeks prior.

Clark614, I think I said it wrong. The Fitbit was adding 300-400, even 1000, as "exercise" calories for the day on MFP, when I hadn't done any exercise. I just couldn't trust that I had moved around enough in one day to add that many calories back in eating, or even eating half of them back.
