  • are you sweating a lot? maybe your body is losing some of the water there. as far as the pound gained if you have only been exercising a week i wouldn't worry to much about it. just keep it up and see what happens next week because sometime muscle will retain water when it is repairing itself after exercise.

  • pre plan all of your meals keep everything easy and on hand. have snacks fruits and veggies already cut up and put in single serving containers so you can just grab them.

  • i was the same way when i started . it was just amazing to see how bad some of the choices i were that i was making. one was over 700 cal i almost fell in the floor when i say that one no wonder i wasn't losing. thanks to mfp i have lost every week since joining. YAY !

  • if you have a regular problem umm. . . going you can get a vegetable base stool softner at walmart that can be taken once daily. it does not use harsh chemicals like a laxative and your body does not become dependent on it. it doesn't send you screaming for the bathroom like a laxative. it just keeps you running smoothly…
  • i weigh in once a week. if i weighed in daily the fluctuation in weight i have would discourage me . once a week puts of back on track if i get off so i don't have too much time to mess up but still gives me enough time to see results. i do tuesday around 930
  • this doesn't help much now but in the future always do a cool down session just a slow walk for about ten min never just stop a vigorous exercise . helps flush out the acids your muscles build up during vigorous exercise that cause some of that soreness if i remember right
