Strengh training is important as when you lose weight you can lose muscle. So by keeping your strength topped up, it would be just fat you lose not precious muscle. :) keep it up you'll thank yourself one day!

I absolutely love my fitbit and would highly recommend one. Worth every penny. :) before I used to use the Pacer app.

Hi. I've recently linked mine. As long as you match the times of when you did the exercise when MFP asks you. Your fitbit calories burnt in that time period will be taken off therefore not double counting the calories. Clever stuff :)

Embarrassing bodies is good sometimes, especially when they get people in who have completely avoidable illnesses which is down to their weight. Always gives me a kick up the backside.

Hi Kerry. I'm in a very similar boat. Got a total of 84lbs to lose eeeeeep. I'm 26 (nearly 27). And I'm doing it for the same reason. Me and the hubby want a baby, and there's no way I'd be able to walk at 4 months pregnant with my added weight! So it's got to go! Whether it all goes when my body decides it's baby time I…
