Yes, finding the little things really does help.. we play A LOT of Guitar Hero and I am usually one of the first ones that gets to read the stories that she writes.. I have not heard of the 100 Days of Happiness.. I will have to look that up, as being happy is one of the things that I am having to work on on this journey…

Thank you everyone for the great posts.. To all you single parents dealing with the same type of issues.. you are all doing great. My daughter is 14 and we have done the therapy and anxiety meds for years. We did the schedule thing, along with "first we are doing this, then we are doing that, and after that this is whats…

I was just talking to one of my biggest supporters yesterday about adding new friends, so this is a perfect thread. I have been on here since October 2013 and have been logging all the good, bad and ugly daily since Jan. 1. I'm always dropping likes and sending out kudos and encouragement. I am reconstructing my page, but…

^^^ I second this ^^ I recently hit a plateau and had not lost anything for almost a month.. my body was holding on to everything, if your not eating enough, your body thinks that it is starving and will stop the weight from coming off. I upped my calorie intake this last week and lost 1.5 lbs., exactly where I wanted to…

I had reached a plateau for the last month.. MFP had me at 1460 calories for loosing 2 lbs. a week. When I did loose, it was almost always less than a pound and I felt like I was starving .. I reset my goals and opted for the 1.5 lb/week loss and MFP calculates my calories at 1680.. so far this week I am down 2 lbs…

I was there a few weeks ago, asking myself the same question.. what's the point and why am I even doing this? I only see 1 to 2.2 lbs. lost a week and that is IF I'm lucky.. as there has been a couple of weeks where the scale didn't move or I gained. Stay with it, as long as you see ANY kind of progress, it is worth it. It…

If you are looking to loose, then no, you are not suppose to eat back all of your exercise calories. You have to have a deficit to loose, or so that is my understanding.

Thank you for being humble like that..so many times we make it all about ourselves and forget that there are others out there who work just has hard with little or no support.. I admire you for that.

Great story.. thanks for sharing

I usually weigh daily, in the morning, just to make sure that I am on track, but I log it weekly.. this way I know if I need to make adjustments to what I am doing on a daily basis..

about 15 yrs ago I had started going with my sister as her Designated Driver to the bars to dance. I went from a size 16/18 to a size 10/12 in about 6 months.. I have never thought of myself as sexy, beautiful, etc.. but when I lost the inches I got those reactions and they so unnerved me :noway: and felt that they weren't…

Thank you all for the motivation and tips. I takes a lot for me to be open about what I feel and am glad to know that I can voice what others may also be feeling. I will work on getting back on the wagon and riding this pony we call life with as much dignity as I can.

Congratulations.. you look amazing..

I asked this same question a week or so ago.. it's getting very frustrating to know that I have lost an inch or so and 12 lbs and can see no visible difference..

Congrats

Wow.. didn't really think of it in terms of material, cut, and manufacture.. but that makes sense.. Thank you all for the information

I can totally relate to the lack of weight loss due to PCOS. I had a complete hysterectomy 2 years ago due to grossly enlarged ovaries due to cyst and sever endometriosis. I ended up gaining 30 lbs. afterwards.. but now by changing my mindset, exercise and eating habits, I am just now being able to loose any kind of…
