Not sure if you meant it this way but just because someone is "ripped" doesn't mean they were never a "former fatty"....my trainer was a bigger girl when she started studying for her fitness degree and now she is getting ready for fitness model competitions and you could scrub your clothes on her abs...lol! She has "been…

Happy Birthday! You look great! And that dress is super cute ;) Way to go!
-
Awesome! Thank you!!

Bread! I just love it too much ;)
-
I LOVE those dresses! I would have to agree with you accept mine would be red with nude Christian Louboutin platform peep toe pumps ;)

All the push ups & weights in the world cannot fix loose, sagging skin that has been stretched. I would definitely get a lift & tuck for the girls if I had the money.

I'm excited to get my hair done tomorrow and for getting to wear my sexy new dress and shoes to a wedding Saturday!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss...I know how hard that can be. You already said the one key motivational point....she would want you to keep going ;) Just remember that she already got to see you begin your weight loss journey and be proud of you for what you accomplished! Now you just need to use your memories of…

Hi! My trainer recommended a great whey protein shake mix when I started my fitness boot camp. I usually just take it after a heavy workout since I think it's good to have some protein after. It's called Body Fortress and it's chocolate peanut butter flavor :) It's DELISH! I put it in either non fat milk or light soy milk,…

AHHAHAHAHAHA!! That is hilarious because it is so true! I still have to a little bit but not as much ;) Progress!

Yummy! I <3 chocolate and peanut butter and have been dying to try that stuff! Thanks for the recipe :)

Mmmmm...thanks!

No, you are not the only one! I feel that way too sometimes. I was slim before about 10 years ago but I am afraid that, now that I'm older, that if I get thin, wrinkles will show up and my girls will be extra saggy :( I don't know what to do with a thin body! Even when I was smaller, I was never "in shape" so I didn't show…

I agree with you! I think this site is a place for people to get healthy so matter what size they are. Just because someone is "skinny" doesn't mean they are healthy. I was a size 6 after high school (I'm 5'8" and I was about 130 pounds or so) but I got that way hardly eating anything and what I did eat was mostly carbs…

I don't have a whole lot of advice on why what your doing isn't working but from what I have read in other posts, make sure you are eating back your exercise calories, getting enough water and (since your lifting weights) take your measurements since muscle weighs more than fat. I only know what I have read on MFP but that…

The first one is very pretty and elegant but when I saw you in the second one...WOW! It's gorgeous! So I definitely vote for #2! Either way though, you look beautiful!

You look awesome!! Way to go! You are in inspiration :flowerforyou: P.S. Cute top!

I just bought a Timex Personal Trainer HRM and so far, I really like it! It has a chest strap which I am thinking is the best way to have a HRM. It's the simplier of the Timex HRMs...keeping track of calories burned is really the only thing I was worried about :)

ROFLMAO

Great job!! Love the blue & black striped shirt outfit! You look fabulous!

Try the Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers, too! They are not frozen, usually in the aisle with canned goods or pasta, and are delicious! It keeps the pasta or rice separate from the sauce, you add water, nuke the pasta/rice until it's tender, drain and add the sauce! Super easy, filling, and low in calories!

I hate having my picture taken, too. I always think I don't look that bad until I see a photo of myself and then I am just embarrassed.

I went to the doctor for a physical and was shocked at how much I weighed! I knew I had gained weight since the year before but I didn't realize how much. I had said that I was going to be under 200 by my 30th birthday (which was LAST February) and that didn't happen and then I said I would be under 200 by my 31st birthday…

You look incredible! Awesome job!

I know how you feel about losing "friends" over weight loss. I have a friend, supposedly one of my best friends, that doesn't want to hear about how I am trying to get healthy. She is jealous because I will be "skinny" and she won't. Instead of being proud of me or even joining me, she just doesn't want me to talk about it…

Very well said! :flowerforyou:

HA! I was thinking the same thing about myself...too funny!
-
Thanks! I know fish is healthy but I just don't like it :-P I have tried it several times and I just won't make myself eat it.

Thank you
