Anyone feel free to add me! I’ve been away from the app for some time bc I thought I didn’t need it but turns out I do LOL.... anyway all my old friends are inactive I will do my best to keep y’all motivated 😬 and it would be nice to have some inspiring people close as well

Add me, I also am starting back again after years of not logging lol

Hey Stella, Before anything, AWESOME job on losing 24 lbs! You've already done the hardest part which is just to take the first step and start! My advice to you is, even though you have experienced that weight loss and it feels great, it is also very easy to get burned out in the process--especially if you have really big…

I have the same experience. I can stand in the sun and start sweating without doing anything. I'm the type of person that is usually always warm even in the winter. People have said I actually "radiate" heat sometimes haha, I just embrace it though. Plus when I'm working out I sweat profusely and it looks like I'm working…

Yes!! I love it! I have been changing my routine the same way. I hardly ever do cardio at the gym anymore. I live by the beach so there is a lot of beach/boardwalk running involved, also jogging with my dog as well. Thanks for sharing!

Wow that sounds awesome! I bet it's even more fun when playing with a big group of people!

tyson has a really good package of ready cooked sliced chicken breast, very low fat for the protein content but its usually pretty expensive..but regardless if you are trying to bulk up like this its definitely going to cost a lot lol good luck!
-
a lot of chicken breast or lean beef will help you plus a lot of high wheat carbs (grits, oatmeal, brown rice, fruits), don't eliminate fat completely from your diet though, someone up there said it already eat the healthy type of fats, those are needed to keep your hormones and other body levels in balance.
-
WOW---to OP: a lot of responses here sorta attacked you for your post "i don't refeed" ... "i don't diet" ... "yo yo diets don't work" <---- true......but a refeed day is (to some people) an important thing, especially if you are a body builder, for those that are deep into their cuts and i won't call it a diet because a…

low carb diet definitely works i've tried it, but like you said it's not a lifestyle i can live with and it makes me feel like a complete zombie all day long...carbs are your fuel for the day! don't limit them to dangerous levels

Get a running or workout buddy!
-
technically true, it is very very hard to gain muscle with a deficit from your maintenance, BUT it is possible, and that's a whole different story, genetics, etc.
-
you are not hindering fat loss by lifting heavy, although if you gain muscle you may not see as much weight loss
-
Just see how it feels a couple times and I always say listen to your body. If you are feeling too tired to workout on a deficit, maybe you should taper off a little bit until you are eating a little bit more. You said you already run about five times a week, so the weight loss/toning will still be there. For me personally,…

No longer taking applicants please take my link off thank you :) Sup everyone. Helping others is what I love to do! A little about myself: I am currently working in physical therapy and am in the process of getting certified in personal training. I love to study nutrition and eventually wish to get a degree in the…

TRAIN YOUR BRAIN There is absolutely no other way around it. You can't just FORCE yourself to enjoy working out and eating healthy; it is impossible and WILL be detrimental to your personal development. So ultimately, at this present time you are going to have to suffer my friend. It's called tough love, there is no one…

hope things work out and you see those results!! :)

as long as it was worth it! happens to me all the time but i have no regrets ever! :)

haha nice! thanks gl with everything

big bang theory is the best show ever! haha

try increasing the resistance on the elliptical, it should be hard, and make sure you are sweating a lot...then you will most likely increase weight lose, but half a pound a week is good!
-
its simple, just keep working hard and keep doing it everyday! to really be consistent you truly have to fall in love with health and fitness, and that's accomplished through noticing the progress with each step you take, each time you are a little closer to your goal, you will be motivated to move on, and as i said once…

i use a small notepad to track my workouts, putting it electronically is too much of a hassle for me, i feel a little more organized that way, AND if you'd like you can input the written notes in MFP later on if you'd like...in my opinion its easier that way
-
in my opinion you can be healthy and fit without tracking. tracking macros are really helpful if you have specific goals, like getting six pack....but hey if you take EXACTLY what you are eating now and eat a little less of it next week and the week after, and reach a point where you eat just enough for your body to…

yup

bring headphones and block the world out....then the gym becomes yours dont stare at anyone just focus on yourself in the mirror then hopefully over time you will become comfortable no matter what
-
you seem to be very busy, make sure you log everything and im not just talking about food and workouts...make a log for your daily activities and schedule out your day into organized increments. this way you are able to visualize the big picture instead of having it all jumbled in the head, hope this helps! also i LOVE…
