walking is great, anything that gets you moving. Definitely invest in a food scale so you can properly track your portions/calories. It 110% works when you do this.

I know for me one day of indulging turns into a few days bc of leftovers and whatnot, that happened for me during Thanksgiving, so I will have what everyone else is eating but weigh out my food like I usually do.

it definitely will if you stick to it, buy yourself a food scale. Calorie counting works for anyone that commits to it. Best part is you don't need to eliminate anything specific as long as it is within your calorie goal for the day.

probably already said, obviously will see results with this diet - but its for the short term and not long term. the diet it self isn't sustainable. Good luck.

are you weighing your food with a scale so you are accurate with calorie intake?

you can do it without going to the gym, obviously that speeds it up. Track your food intake here and have a calorie deficit. Maybe squeeze in a walk with the kids 2-3 days a week or whenever you can. Maybe before they wake up?

1200 is very low, and does not need to be that low...what is your height/weight? What does MFP recommend? Buy a food scale and log your food daily, it works !

Tare lets you reset the weight back to 0 even when you have food on the scale. best of luck to you, you can do it ! I will send a friend request. Make sure you log your food everyday, you will definitely see results. Also if you can, buy a scale - weigh everything you eat so you can be accurate with your calories counting. I am also on 1800 calories a day.
