Some fab ideas! I like to cook fresh salmon steaks with a squeeze of lemon juice on my George Foreman. I make a sauce with half fat creme fraiche, lemon juice, white pepper, loads of fresh dill & some chopped capers. I heat it through in the microwave, pour over the cooked salmon then serve with new potatoes, steamed veg…

Hi I honestly wouldn't worry about it. You're in for the long haul - & are doing brilliantly!!!! Logically it's what you eat across an average week that makes the difference not on an indivdual day. For that reason, I have a set weekly weigh in day & that's it. I just don't get on the scales the rest of the week as I know…

Hi I make a lentil ragu which is lovely, very filling & incredibly cheap! I had some in a plain baked potato with a salad for lunch & only needed a snack at dinner! It's on the BBC Good Food site: www.bbcgoodfood.com You can also search the site by ingredient, so if you type in lentil it comes up with loads of ideas & they…

Hi I'm new too & on 1200 calories. I add everything into my diary, including fruit & veg. For example, I ate celery earlier which had only a couple of calories, but the apple I ate came up as 80 calories, so I'm guessing it's best to include it as part of my day's allowance... Not sure if that helps! Good luck with your…

If I'm looking for a sweet fix then its either a 2 finger kit kat, Skinny Cow ice cream bar or a Muller Light yogurt. All around 100 cals each. Bliss! If it's savoury, usually a mini pot of Philadelphia light with either some veg crudités or a couple of Ryvita.

Slimline tonic!! 58 cals in a single vodka & slimline tonic

Sounds like a sensible breakfast to me. I start the day with a glass of warm water with lemon juice, then usually go with a couple of weetabix, orange juice, a fat free yogurt & a cup of black coffee or tea. If I'm really hungry I'll have a slice of thick wholemeal toast too. Also I always save enough cals for a tablespoon…

Hi Zara Welcome to the site. I'm new too but already loving it. Being able to log everything from my phone & let the app do the sums is fab!!
