  • I have Celiac, DH and IBS. I can't eat any grains, dairy, seafood or nuts. How do I develop a diet that is good for me and help me lose weight?
  • Plenty of exercise as I worked in my garden for 5 hours. I definitely stayed within my calorie goals but I'm still struggling with my tracking. I need to track food as soon as I eat it instead of waiting until later in the day. It makes it too easy to forget to track something. Ugh! Loving that it's finally spring here and…

  • Great topic! I overeat as a replacement and reaction to other emotions. A frequently tell myself I deserve a "reward" for something when in reality I am not rewarding myself by eating too much food or the wrong foods that my body really needs. The question I need to ask myself daily is: "Does my body really need this food?…

  • I met my exercise goal with another hike down the mountain plus some added work out in my garden. However, my daily schedule was upended and I did not get my food tracked. I do know what I ate for breakfast because it's always the same and was able to log some of it today, but I know it's not accurate. I need to really…

  • Yes to all three today. A good one.
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? This is my first time back with this group for several months. My first day was the 14th and while I did stay within my calories and track I did not get my 20 min. exercise in. On the…
  • One of my goals is to follow a Whole30 diet for 30 days. I call it "clean eating".
  • Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes to all three. Nice day here with temps in the mid sixties. Worked in my garden and yard all day. Lots of good exercise. happy May Day!
  • I am back after another round of illness. I struggle with staying on track and go to my comfort foods when I am sick. Time to get back at it.
  • A new NWL plus. Yesterday i returned to our community center for exercise class. Due to medical issues and then Covid, I haven't been to one since the summer of 2019. It was the perfect class for me. Some aerobics and lots of strength and balance exercises. Yes, to tracking and staying within my goal yesterday. Things are…
  • Thank you for the Emerson quote. A great way to start my day.
  • I'm back after 5 days of illness. When I'm not feeling well, I can't stay on track at all. Starting over for March as I'm feeling better today. It feels like spring here and things are looking up. Yay!
  • Thanks for doing this again RangerRick! I am starting out the month with a good day. Yes to all 3. We had sunshine and 53 degrees here today. It did feel like spring.

  • February has been the hardest month for me. I am still tracking, stayed within calories yesterday and got plenty of exercise. It hasn't happened every day though. Still planning to forge ahead to the end of this month and hoping for March.
  • Struggling here, but hanging in there. Cold and bad weather, but no power outages as elsewhere. Feel fortunate about that for sure. Staying on track. Exercise every other day, it seems. Staying within calories for the most part. Come one Spring!
  • Thanks to this group, I have been tracking the food I eat for three and a half months. It makes all the difference. Feeling really good about the weight I have lost. Thanks.
