Food scale and weigh solids in grams, not ounces. You must be hyper accurate with logging. Also use a chest strap heart rate monitor for your workouts, NOT a wrist strap one. it yields a more accurate result of calorie burns than anything else. Drink plenty of water. The average woman should consume roughly 2.2l of water…

From what I understand coffee is both an appetite suppressant and kick starts the metabolism.
-
I love it! I work my tail off with it daily!
-
Black... I use to load it with a ton of sugar and cream but I slowly weened myself of those and I now love the flavor of black coffee.

I bought this machine. It takes a fair amount of space and time to put together. I posted review there to titled great purchase http://www.sears.com/personal-trainer-cage-system/p-00688360000P

do you mean refined sugars such granulated sugar, soft drinks artificial sweeteners or are you cutting out fruit as well? Keeping fruit IMO is important. Fruits provide some great nutrition and can be quite refreshing.

I love the way your hair frames your face

I do Cheerioes in the prepackaged cup with 4oz of 1% milk, a Banana, black coffee and a plain Greek yogurt.

And this is why I never listen to personal trainers about food and diet.... the only eating plan that can be followed is one that you can sustain for the rest of your life. But then again I firmly believe that trainers want you to go off their unrealistic food plans that they set for people. While on the plan, people lose…

absolutely use the WiFi features. Withings connects to MFP and automatically syncs your weight and BMI.

I have the Withings total body analyzer. I love it! as for the body fat% I dont know how accurate it is. Mine has been changing as I lose weight but it is different within a percentage point or two daily. I think it is more of an estimate

Stop bothering her about it. It doesn't help, in fact you can believe it breaks her down and does allot more harm that good. I am obese, my wife is obese. Her mother is always on her and brings her things like sugar substitutes and personal blenders and tells her "it's special for weight loss". My mother in law is about a…

I quit smoking going on 6 years ago. To this day it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. Good luck... you can do it! I however did not go cold turkey. I used Chantix, I only used it for about a month or so and not the full three month cycle.
-
I do. I do not use ear buds however. I use over the ear headphones. I got these from Amazon about 6 months ago and I use them daily. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008OUL1OC/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I have charged them a total of 4 times in 6+months. They have spectacular sound and have awesome padding…

Thanks everyone. I went with the Polar FT7 on sale at Best Buy for around 50 bucks. I had to do the ship to store option. I am gadget geek so I got that one because it will interface with my phone and then I can use iCardio from Digifit to automatically upload and download to and from both MFP and Withings with what I am…

I myself have reduced the added sugars and have replaced them with fruit. I never use to eat fruit, I have found that I absolutely love fruit and find myself mindlessly munching on empty calories if I don't eat fruit. FRUIT FRUIT FRUIT OM NOM NOM NOM

The natural peanut butter has less sodium in it and it is much higher in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats which are the good fats that we should all strive to get in our diet to replace the regular fat saturated fat and trans fats. I tried to replace my peanut butter with the natural stuff and I couldn't do it but…

1.3 oz prepackaged cheerios with 6 oz of 1% milk. 1 container of Plain Greek Yogurt with a 1/2 cup of fresh blueberrys mixed in 1 small banana 20 oz of Black Coffee

I use my eliptical daily. I go hard for 30-45 minutes. I start with 30 minutes of ab work, followed by an hour of strength training and then do 30-45 minutes on the eliptical and go hard! If someone slacks off and goes slow that is due to their own lack of work ethic or lack of endurance.
-
I try to keep the sodium intake lower, not because of health reasons but rather because if I consume too much sodium I retain water weight. I eat plain greek yogurt with a 1/2 cup of blueberry's mixed in as part of my breakfast everyday. I try to keep my sugar intake to natural sugar rather than added processed sugar.

Neither. Fad diets are unsustainable. You can stick with it for a short time and see significant weight loss but when and I do mean when someone stops following the diet all the weight comes back on. The only sustainable way is to count all your calories eaten and calories burned and be honest with yourself in doing so.

Coffee is a kick start to the metabolism and helps with calorie burning. Its all the sugar and cream that we put in it that offsets the good it does for us. I have weened myself off of the sugar and the cream and have been drinking black coffee for a week and absolutely love it!

I eat bread every day. Bread has always been a favorite of mine. Now I eat less of it and I count it. I am losing weight. Calorie count, lots of water and exercise. I eat Pizza every Friday too. I use to eat a large pie on my own and now I do 2 slices, 3 if I really want and I just do an extra 20 minutes of cardio exercise…

Lunch is my big downfall. I have switched from burgers and fries etc. and have been more aware of what I am eating and more recently (last week or so) been getting 6 inch sandwiches from Subway. No matter what I get there its high in sodium. today I thought I was doing good by bringing turkey breast with wraps to leave in…

Fad diets are really difficult to maintain long term and many of them leave gaps in nutritional needs. My wife was doing the Paleo diet this summer and lost allot weight rapidly but its wasn't maintainable for her.

30 minutes of ab work, an hour of strength training and 60 minutes on the elipticle.
