I feel ya! my husband leaves a trial of clothes and shoes when he comes in the door... dirty socks end up on the couch or bed (wherever he happened to sit down first!) his clothes are always thrown on the floor, he won't clean up the counters after fixing anything--this I used to be okay with because he made dinner most…

I would agree with most the women on here who say everyday is different... but overall I would say I don't give myself enough credit, and I think that goes to being over-weight when I was younger, and even though I've lost the weight (and I know I'm no ugly duckling!) I think that self-conscious fat girl likes to rear her…

I used Timex for the last 5 yrs and have gone through 3 watches--I am switching brands! The race trainer was my last one and it didn't even last a year! over the last week, the display on the watch has been fading in and out, and it was constantly losing my heart rate, I changed the batteries in both my chest strap and…

that would be me! though my goal isn't really weight but body fat percent... I'm currently 20-21% and would like to be like 17-18% which will most likely put me in the 120's :-) oh, and I'm a navy wife... Hooah! ;-)

they do improve with exercise and weight loss--mine haven't gone away, in fact the large one in my leg I mentioned in my earlier post seems to stick out farther the more weight and more muscular I get--i think it may depend on how bad you have them.. if yours went away that's great!
-
Yes they suck! I have them not horribly bad, just one large one going done my right leg from groin to knee (front side) they are hereditary too (my mother had them too), but being overweight (which I was) and on your feet for extended hours (I was and still am) are even bigger contributors... also wearing heels, and…

I think to be fit and inked up is hot on BOTH men and women! and I believe I qualify to categorize myself as such ;)

I'm not quite a vegetarian--think "flexatarian" is the appropriate term. I eat mostly a plant based diet, I don't eat dairy, and seldom eat meat or eggs, though vegetarian is my ultimate goal--maybe even veganism, but one step at a time! Add me if you wish! I would love to have friends with similar diets--at this point I…

*sigh* I give up... one, I'm not vegetarian or vegan--I am a "flexatarian"--I eat chicken/fish on rare occasions and no dairy. Two, you're right, they don't teach this in standard dietetics but that doesn't make it any less true... the world is quite OBVIOUSLY not ready to accept that we can live healthily and happily off…

Actually we are not really carnivores, Canines are! The human digestive anatomy is very short compared to animals whose trunks are the majority of their weight (naturally), not talking about the fat guy at chilis eating never-ending wings whose trunk is the majority of his weight also... Anyways, carnivores have long GI…

I'm almost 20 lbs lighter than what my driver's licence states (I think I was 10 lbs heavier than what is says when I got it!) and I am nearly 15 lbs lighter than my military ID says! (that one mighta been 5 lbs heaver than what I said!) haha
-
HA! you got that right! you talk on a pre-school "lebel"!
-
I would respond to you but I don't even know what the hell your saying!
-
I'm in school for dietetics and been in the health and fitness world for 5 yrs! Eat mostly carbs from fruits and vegetables and very little meat and I am perfectly healthy and STILL losing weight! YOU need to re-educate yourself!

Atkins is horribly bad for you! Don't follow it! Normally weight loss causes cholesterol to fall but for about one-third of Atkins dieters, everything goes in the wrong direction, and their cholesterol levels sometimes go through the roof. They also lose calcium, as researchers have found with urine tests. Over the long…

just because your slender doesn't mean your healthy.. a skinny person who doesn't workout is at higher risk for health problems than a "thick" person who workouts regularly... so from a health standpoint it does matter..
-
Thanks! I love exercise and the way it makes me feel! after my last relationship and not having a partner who loved to workout--I could never be with someone again who didn't! Thankfully I don't have to worry about that tho--I am now married to a wonderful guy who workouts just as much as I do! :)
-
I just recently watched it and have since given up dairy which I'd already been working on before--I was down to just greek yogurt and cottage cheese as regular dairy sources--but have officially given it up completely... and truthfully I was debating the whole vegan thing but am still unsure... I have doubled my vegetable…

I love both Food Matters and Forks Over Knives--Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead is another good one!

for both my husband and I we are in better shape than when we got married! on our 1st yr anniversary we joked about how surprised we were that we weren't tired of each other yet--and he said that unlike most couples we actually look better now! haha.. and if anything I wish I was then the size I am now!
-
I do a combination of free weights and machines... mostly free weights though.. total body workouts three days a week... always do pull ups--the shape the upper body like no other!

cooking changes the weight and nutrient value of everything...
-
if its's short cardio session do it fasted--if it's gonna be long 45+ minutes then eat before hand--you'll have more energy to workout longer and won't burn your muscle.. but if you can only get in a quick session do on an empty stomach...
-
Sounds yummalicious! gonna have to try it!
-
haha I am the same! love this!

the closer to the ankle the more it's gonna hurt, because of the lack of fatty tissue/muscle--tattoos over bones hurt--but I have several (including over my ankle and up my spine) and none are unbearable... and be aware that both those areas are subject to the ink falling out and bleeding through the lines...

Post you before and after's in the progress threads... that'll get you lots of friends! And I can pimp you out to mine too ;)
-
Hey you look kinda familar... do I know you? Hehehe

I am doing INSANITY with my sister (Kacy123) even though we live 500 miles apart we still keep each other motivated and in constant conttact, even doing our workouts at the same time if our schedules allow it! It really helps knowing she's right there with me sweating it out! I just recently posted my 30 day progress pics…
