Thank you all for your great advice. Very much appreciated. I'm taking rest days inbetween every run now and doing some other type of training on those days.
-
Thanks. I'll give it a try!
-
I want to run a 5k before summer is over :)
-
Thank you! I'm 5'4!
-
Thanks everyone. I'm now convinced I can do this!!!
-
Awesome! Keep going!
-
Wow. Well done! Congrats on your great results and better health!

I don't focus on macros at all but I do focus on my calories. I have been losing at a rate of 2lbs per week for the past 10 weeks.
-
Thank you!
-
Omg. You look stunning! Very inspiring!!!
-
Thank you! My starting weight was 90kg (196lbs). I eat around 1500 calories daily and walk at least 12k steps per day :)
-
30-40lbs
-
Wow. Congratulations! Amazing :)
-
Makes perfect sense that weighing might become more important the closer I get to my goal weight.

You shouldn't be hungry all the time. It makes it very unlikely that you will experience a healthy weight loss and be able to stick to your plan. How much do you have to lose? I'm losing 2lbs per week and I'm never hungry. I eat 4 meals each day and grab a piece of fruit at night if I'm up late and ate dinner early.

Wow. You're beautiful (before and after)!
-
WOW. You're gorgeous. Love your style!

Don't think that everything is ruined and go on a binge just because you went over your calorie goal one day. Just like you don't go and spend the rest of your money just because you went over your budget on one item.
-
Wow. There's a huge difference. Keep up the good work and hopefully your mind will soon follow and you will be able to see the amazing results your have created!
-
Thanks! But what if I'm never hungry and feeling more energized than ever?
-
I am 5,4", so I still have quite a lot to lose. 30-40 lbs.
-
Thanks everyone! Off to the gym.... ;)
-
I've lost 19lbs in 9 weeks. I eat around 1500 calories a day and never log under 12k steps.
-
19lbs gone since feburary 26th (almost 9 weeks).
-
Thanks everyone! Lost all the water weight and then some in just 3 days. Woohoo! And regarding how I can maintain a 1000 calorie deficit....well I eat at or just below 1500 calories daily and walk at least 12k steps. This has resulted in a 2lbs weekly weight loss on average for the past 8 weeks.
-
Thanks! Think it's water retention due to carbs and alcohol. Hope to see the numbers drop fast over the next few days.

GREAT results! Well done. You should be very proud of yourself. May I ask how long you've been running?
-
Awesome. Well done!

Despite two birthday parties and lots of cake I managed to lose 2lbs in the last week :)
